Hacienda El Charro Reviews
I'm not a complainer; I've also never been called a B word by a waitress... I don't write reviews-if ever, but I am compelled to after the things I heard come out of two waitresses' mouths. This evening, my coworkers and I did what we do most evenings: we ordered Mexican food from Hacienda El Charro, which we have been long-time supporters of. We enjoyed our takeout, always leaving something for those who cook and package up the food we enjoy so much. We have always appreciated...read full review
The worst service I ever received!! Didn’t get what I ordered, forced to pay for it anyways, hurried us from our table, and yelled at us when we questioned our service.
Food looked like it had been sitting out for quite some time. Terrible!!!!!
Service not what it used to be. We were seated and the waitress took drink order. A few minutes layered the chips arrived and we irdered fiod. 45 minutes later she returned with food. She was a bit snippy when we asked for refills. The chicken was under cooked. The food was bland. Waitress never returned. I went to pay bill and she asked “ how was everything?” I said”eh”. She repeated it back in a smart aleck tone. Its not like it used to be. I dont plan on returning.

Hacienda El Charro is a great option for Mexican food in Burnet, especially for early risers. The restaurant serves delicious dishes, including the Fiesta omelette and chicken enchiladas with Verde sauce that many find tangy and flavorful. The service is consistently great, with friendly staff checking in on guests to ensure they have a wonderful experience. While the queso may be a bit spicy for some due to the use of Pepper Jack cheese, it is often described as perfectly cheesy. The homemade corn tortillas are a highlight, and the salsa has a nice mild/medium spice. Guests have noted that the seating isn't ideal, but the breakfast is highly praised. With its excellent service, good food, and reasonable prices, Hacienda El Charro stands out as the best Mexican food in town. There are two huge parking lots in the back, providing more parking than they can seat inside.
