This is a great restaurant! I went with a group of women and was very pleasantly surprised. It has a quaint atmosphere, friendly service, good food, and reasonable prices. I will definitely go back again!
I was in the area for a Casino Night at Log Country Cove down the street and I passed this place on the way.
I read the reviews and decided to go.
I am glad I did.
I ordered a sweet tea, chicken fried steak, coleslaw, and I asked if I could have onion rings instead of fries The lady said sure but there would be an extra charge. No problem.
Everything was incredible. Good "home cooking" but only if your family has perfected the recipes...

Every day has a special. One of the things I like best. There is Always a free bowl of beans Hot and ready to eat.
Parking: Parking all around the building.
Kid-friendliness: I have seen the owner of the cafe / store ready to give the children free books , toys, and hugs
