The flavor of the food and drinks will far surpass your expectations! The tortilla chips are made fresh, the burgers were a hit with our bachelorette party, and the drinks were reportedly fabulous!
This is a small place with a full bar and very capable bartenders. There are velvet couches, moody lighting, and friendly staff. There was one waiter/bartender who was incredibly fun, generous and attentive; he wanted to be sure we all had a good time, and we did.

Shadow and light is a small little bar with tons of charm. The establishment is clean and well maintained and staff is incredibly friendly! The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The classic hamburger was one of the best I’ve ever had and their green beans were delicious! Everything we tried was cooked perfectly and well seasoned and the chef himself even came out of the kitchen to confirm our allergies and make sure everything prepared safely! Shadow and light is a great neighborhood spot and definitely well worth the trip if it’s out of the way!!

Such a hidden gem! The atmosphere, service, and food were all 10/10. We came in for brunch and got steak and eggs, brunch burger, and french toast and everything was incredible. We will be back to try out more, it is definitely worth going out of your way.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. We were skeptical when we parked. A very small cinder block building with a Pegasus and skeleton out front. Stepped inside and it had an amazing cool vibe. Quirky and very cool. Sat down and were immediately met by server. Very welcoming. They treated us like family. The menu and drinks are amazing. True mixology in this place. The owners Gilbert and Antonio each visited with us making sure we were enjoying our meal and drinks. They shared their story about opening the restaurant and vision as well. Amazing people pursuing their dream. I can’t speak highly enough about everything. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. GO!!!! You won’t regret it. We will definitely be back.
