Great stop for breakfast! Excellent service and tasty foodKid-friendliness: There is a kid's menu for the bigger kids, and the chef was kind enough to put together a "small bites" plate for our 10 year old. Very thoughtful!

The renaissance jewel of Burton, TX. The Blue Willow has gourmet food with a great presentation. They use Blue Willow dishes, real silverware, fresh flowers and cloth napkins. Great quiet place to write in my write while having an exquisite breakfast. The staff is welcoming and pleasant! I found it by accident, and now it’s my favorite place.

Went there Saturday. Was there when they opened. My husband wanted the salsa on the side, instead of on top of his eggs. They wouldn’t do it. I ordered biscuits and gravy. After about 5 minutes, we were told the biscuits and gravy would take about 30 minutes before they were ready. What?! We left. Atmosphere seemed very arrogant. I have been another time, and there were issues then. Will the 3rd time be the charm? We won’t know, as we’ll never be back. Buying, shopping and eating local is something we try to do, but service, prices and attitudes in small towns suck.

Breakfast was good, but the eggs were a bit undercooked. The pancakes were delicious and hearty.

I’ve heard such good things about this place. I was a bit bummed with the togo service. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros dish Togo with a side of fruit. It seeped through the bottom and got all over my car seat. The fruit was just thrown in there so it was covered with beans and sauce. Gross. Both the tacos were just thrown in there, a ridiculous mess. I paid $14 and threw most of it out. Please do better.

Eat here again today while visiting. Have enjoyed the transformations over the years as the Burton Cafe and the current owner has done a super job of consistent quality food great coffee for breakfast and lunch Friday Saturday and Sunday. Of course would love to see open more days but that is hard on cafes so glad to catch on those days. If breakfast try get there at the beginning or you might have to wait a little but totally worth it. Thank you to the owner and cook. We enjoyed are breakfast so much.. today the blueberry lemon curd pancakes.

Great breakfast spot! I had blueberry lemon curd hot cakes with sausage & arugula sausage. It was so good. The pancake is a dense batter. Different, but good. The dressing on the arugula was so subtle. I ate all of it first. Creamer for my coffee was served in the cow.
