While wandering around western Oklahoma we were told to tryThe Bucket in Canadian, TX it was worth the 50 mile drive. They close at 2pm but we slid in the door with a few minutes to spare and got ours to go. Burgers were huge and cooked perfectly. Husband likes his mustard & cheddar, I’m all about the veggies both bacon cheeseburgers were delicious. We also enjoyed the onion rings & tots, best burger we’ve had on the road. Recently have gone in the winter and it has been unusually cold and drafty. The food is a little on the expensive side. Luckily my daughter and I share a plate still comes out to about $24.

In town for the weekend for work. Great food, great atmosphere and decor, the prices were very reasonable. The waitress was very polite and knowledgeable about the area. Would of missed the Calf Fry festival if I hadn't heard it from her!
