Pricey. But you really get what you pay for! Bread pudding is like no other! It's a pleasure to eat there.

That 12oz IRON SKILLET RIBEYE STEAK was awesome. Let me say if u can let go of $45, it's worth it to me. Okra & greens just fine. Staff friendly as ever, and we visit frequent. Thanks folks. My wife's beer had ice in it and she said the complimentary dessert( I forgot the name) was fantastic. She took mine to go , but dropped it AND they tried to replace it. A great way to start put 4th Anniversary here where we married in 2020.

We had good food and great service. The menu is wide ranging with lots of full dinners. I wish they had a few more lighter lunch items. Beautiful building!

We had a late lunch/early dinner here on Sunday. I had the fried fish platter (cornbread batter and the whitefish was very tender, small pieces but lots of food!) Hubby had the special. We both enjoyed our meals thoroughly, and the old hotel atmosphere was lovely! A little spendy, but the meals even included warm bread pudding ?

The five of us have been stopping here every year on the way to KS for hunting and I must say the quality has declined. The chicken-fried rib eye was not tenderized, but tough as boot leather and tasted the same. My pork chop had good taste, but was a little dry. Our baked potatoes were cold. The queso is bland and somewhat thin. The bread pudding is far too wet and near soupy, there was no texture at all, believe me, I can do much better. The caramel sauce no longer has the faint hint of bourbon as in the past. Everything on the menu is overpriced. Service was good.

Awesome building and setting. Food did not match the high prices. You expect top notch quality of food for the price. It just wasn't there.

Must have had a change in ownership. No Bar b que offered. Menu was limited and prices were pretty steep. Food, though was excellent as was the waitress we had.

Came in late. 30 min until closing. The staff was super friendly. I tried the chicken fried steak. Wow!! The best cfs I have had in a VERY long time. Other at our table had the burger and the steak medallions. All were super good!! Everything is made from scratch. Gravy was off the hook! And you get bread pudding with your meal!! Highly recommend!!
