Went to Applebee's on Thanksgiving for lunch in Canton, tx. I've never written a review on anything, good or bad, but this had to be worst meal I've had at a restaurant. The turkey had to be processed more than a hot dog weiner from a can. The gravy had to come from a package at the store. The stuffing without a doubt was packaged but edible, (hard to mess up stovetop) but was looking for better for a holiday meal. Good potatoes & beer was good. All N All, my stomach hurts like every past thanksgiving dinner, not from over eating but because it's percolating from awful food. All this for $70+ dollars.
Order the Riblets. Informed they were out of regular Ribs. Riblets practically inedible. Full of small bones, mostly flat. Spent my time picking out bones, spitting out bones. Taste was ok. Food order late. Arrived without fries and Coleslaw. Apparently, not ready? Fries and Coleslaw arrived later. About half the fries were cold. Muddle through my meal as a young baby at table next to me screeched the whole time. Had to find the server and request the bill. Bill has a QCR code for providing comments on visit. But CANNOT fill out survey until bill is paid. Paid bill, brought a new receipt with NO QCR code for submitting reviews. Paid cash, server provided most of the change back...but NO coins...Applebee's kept my coins. Informed server this was my 1st visit to any Applebee's...and will be my LAST visit. Food was bad, shorted me on change, Food arrived late, screaming babies to whole ordeal. Informed sever was going elsewhere to find something to eat as I was still hungry.

The bartender is amazing I placed an order to go over the phone and I was supposed to go into the bar to pick it up. Well I had recently hurt my knee so she had brought it out to me took my card rang me up and I was on my way. She even threw in a glass of ice tea. Yes I know they have curbside pick up people but I just thought it was sweet. So everyone tip the bartender, the hosts, and hostess very well because they work their butts off there and just for the record I do not personally know any of them nor do I work there but I do go there a couple of times a month.

Kid-friendliness: Games in crayons for kids great mac and cheese and kids menu. And if you can take your kid during happy hour navigate to see you really happy for a change Just kidding 😁
Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking close to the door. Clearly mark. No step up or step down wheelchair accessible 0 bathroom with accessible sink
Applebees is always a good place for a meal with a variety of foods. They also have an open bar plenty of choices including discounted favorites.

Favorite place to stop n get a drink. Melissa makes everyone feel like family from the second they sit down till they leave.......... ok so Melissa is gone and now it's packed with snobby country folks. The atmosphere definitely changed for the worse.
