“First time here. It was great. The food was delicious. The salad bar was wonderful. They have a bean bar too. Didn't have any beans but they had 4 or 5 different types of beans in large pots. I don't have pictures of everything but my son got thick, fried, juicy porkchops. My daughter had amazing fried catfish and huge fried shrimp. I had liver and onions covered in brown gravy. It was so tender and so delicious. I ate every single last bite and left completely miserable because I ate way too much. Mashed potatoes and gravy great. Fried pickles, great. Fried zucchini, great. Everything was delicious. They also have blue bell chocolate and vanilla ice cream bar. Very nice and friendly wait staff. Definitely will go back. Probably going to become a new go to spot. If you want good old down home cooking. This is your place.”

“Driving through to Mt. Pleasant and had our dogs so wanted to stop someplace to let them out while we ate. This place is a hidden gem !! The food and service were phenomenal. We got the taco plates and chips fiesta. Pure perfection. Everything was fresh and I mean FRESH. I don't think I've ever had guacamole and salsa that tasted straight out of the garden. Made me want to look around and find theirs. If you're ever passing through Canton and crave exceptional food and service this is the place ❤️”

“Native Son is the best in East Texas! We have driven from Tyler several times and the service, food and atmosphere are consistently wonderful! The banana pudding alone is worth an hour drive! The atmosphere is cozy, great for an intimate date night or with a group.”

“Was in Canton for Trade Days and decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed. Service was excellent. I got the hamburger steak with onions and gravy on top with mashed potatoes and fried okra with toast. Excellent. Steak was not typical frozen patty. Real hamburger steak. Husband is vegetarian so they were kind and got him a plate of different veggies and grilled cheese. Would recommend”

“This place is like going into a Taco Bell from the 1980's. It's awesome. The food is great and the staff seem happy to help you. Everybody at Taco Bell seems like they hate you. Don't make the mistake and eat the nasty BBQ at the other counter. Goto Taco Casa. You won't be disappointed.”

“Everything (the meats) tasted as great as I expected based on recommendations, but nobody mentioned how great the sides would be! Easily the best coleslaw I've ever had and the potato salad was amazing! If bbq is your comfort food, then Moma Ts is where you need to be eating. side advice: you're gonna want to buy extra BBQ sauce for your own kitchen.”

“My son took me here a few days ago. I’ve been going through cancer treatment and the radiation has messed up my taste buds.
This coffee shop is the only place around that offers an apple cider.
So my sweet son treated me and wow!
This is the most adorable little coffee shop! Not only could I taste my drink, it was delicious, and the service to the sitting area was just precious!
I have heard it use to be a drive through car wash. These guys have done an amazing job at turning it into one of the BEST little coffee shops I’ve ever seen. And I have hit them all locally, as well as out of state. What a GEM! Go try them out if you haven’t already! You won’t be disappointed. And be sure you have a seat in the adorable outdoor seating area!”

“We visited Ochoa's in Canton Last night 3/23/2026, and I couldn't go without bragging on the young men who served us. They are some of the most respectful young men we've ever encountered in a service industry. Unfortunately I forgot to get their names so I could personally recognize them. Not one of them let us leave without personally blessing us! Kudos to management for hiring them and the parents who raised such respectful men! The food was wonderful as always! Thank you for a pleasant dining experience.”

Temperatures are now at Record highs above 105 And Store 596 of a 1604 West in San Antonio hasn’t had AC since May and we’re only supplied with portable units. The store is completely unbearable, but I commend the staff that was working diligently to prepare food in this building come on Whataburger these are your employees that give many hours to you. They should at least work in bearable work conditions. Please address this situation. Get it fixed”

“El Sombrero at 230 TX-243 B, Canton, TX 75103 is a great place to eat. We ate lunch and we had the beef fajitas and nachos wow you will get your moneys worth and served hot and very juicy and a mixture of great flavors. The beef on the nachos was fantastic with a mixture of other items added such as guacamole, sour cream, onions, tomato and a white sauce that was fantastic. The fajitas came out sizzling and very tender with fresh condiments and rice and beans that were very tasty. We have also had breakfast here too and we enjoyed everything about it. The place was very clean kind of old fashioned but well kept with no waiting and the service was wonderful. We got our meal quickly very little waiting and the parking lot was easy to get to and such a cute spot here in Canton Tx we highly recommend you try it. We will be back thanks for the great service.”

“This store cannot wait on your customers in the drive through. You have to repeat a simple order several times and then you can't even get them to come to the drive thru to give it to you. Finally somebody shows up to give it to you. But then that person can't run the register. But that person who runs the register is too busy handling the 2 whole cars are in the dining room. Are you kidding me? Had to give my food back because they didn't want to take my money. They don't have to worry about that again in the future. This isn't the first issue.I've had with the Canton store, but it will be the last.”
