“My wife & I have had several evening meals here because it just can't be beat for a great home cooked kind of food. I think that the chicken fried steak is my go to almost every time. The vegetables are fresh and delicious. My wife loves the very large salad bar because of all the items to choose from. Take it from me, you just can't go wrong here with whatever you choose! Then there is the ice cream afterwards that comes with the meal.”

“Driving through to Mt. Pleasant and had our dogs so wanted to stop someplace to let them out while we ate. This place is a hidden gem !! The food and service were phenomenal. We got the taco plates and chips fiesta. Pure perfection. Everything was fresh and I mean FRESH. I don't think I've ever had guacamole and salsa that tasted straight out of the garden. Made me want to look around and find theirs. If you're ever passing through Canton and crave exceptional food and service this is the place ❤️”

“We visited Ochoa's in Canton Last night 3/23/2026, and I couldn't go without bragging on the young men who served us. They are some of the most respectful young men we've ever encountered in a service industry. Unfortunately I forgot to get their names so I could personally recognize them. Not one of them let us leave without personally blessing us! Kudos to management for hiring them and the parents who raised such respectful men! The food was wonderful as always! Thank you for a pleasant dining experience.”

“Was in Canton for Trade Days and decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed. Service was excellent. I got the hamburger steak with onions and gravy on top with mashed potatoes and fried okra with toast. Excellent. Steak was not typical frozen patty. Real hamburger steak. Husband is vegetarian so they were kind and got him a plate of different veggies and grilled cheese. Would recommend”

“Ferris and the entire staff made our first visit an amazing experience. The food was absolutely incredible—perfectly smoked brisket, well-seasoned green beans, and potato salad that hit the mark. We also tried the mashed potatoes with gravy, and everything was so good we went back for seconds! This will definitely be our go-to spot whenever we’re traveling through the area.”

“Everything (the meats) tasted as great as I expected based on recommendations, but nobody mentioned how great the sides would be! Easily the best coleslaw I've ever had and the potato salad was amazing! If bbq is your comfort food, then Moma Ts is where you need to be eating. side advice: you're gonna want to buy extra BBQ sauce for your own kitchen.”

“Finally got to stop in for a cup of coffee, it seems like whenever I'm in town they're slammed and I'm running behind but it lined up today. The outside seating is comfy and spacious for multiple groups and the coffee was great”

“What's not to love about hot, fresh, homemade pretzels. They also have a food trailer I see around on occasion. Staff is always friendly. My favorite is the salted pretzel with cheese, but all of them are delicious.”

“This store cannot wait on your customers in the drive through. You have to repeat a simple order several times and then you can't even get them to come to the drive thru to give it to you. Finally somebody shows up to give it to you. But then that person can't run the register. But that person who runs the register is too busy handling the 2 whole cars are in the dining room. Are you kidding me? Had to give my food back because they didn't want to take my money. They don't have to worry about that again in the future. This isn't the first issue.I've had with the Canton store, but it will be the last.”
