“I love AJ’s coffee!!! I’ve never been a coffee fan. I don’t like the taste and it always has given me a headache. But when they opened up and started selling coffee, I knew I wanted to support a local business so I tried the coffee. And to my huge surprise, I was hooked by the smoothness and the flavor, and an added bonus of no headache. I give double the stars!!! If you’re driving through Grand Saline, make your stop at AJ’s Sweet ice.”

“In the small community of Grand Saline you can find Grandma's and it's a gem. You walk in and immediately feel like you go back to a time to diners that were homey, comfortable and inviting! The staff makes you feel like family! The menu item are simple but good and you get plenty to eat. I had The "Don" Breakfast and boy was it good eatin! The eggs were perfectly prepared and seasoned. The Biscuits&Gravy were phenomenal! The biscuit was big and fluffy and sausage gravy was scrumptious. Last Thanksgiving I also bought a whole Buttermilk Pie and it was the best I ever had. It was gone in less than 24 hours!! A must stop!”

“Best Pizza I've ever had, hands down!!! Have ordered from here three times and they have never disappointed! I usually don't eat the crust off of any pizza but their crossed is even delicious!They have a new hot honey and we got it on a pepperoni pizza tonight and my only regret was we did not get the texas size! The hot honey is AMAZING It adds just a tad bit of sweetness and not a whole lot of spice. It's perfect!!! If you are considering getting the hot honey just do it!!!”

“Very good food. But I have to give 4 stars because it’s very hard to ever get an order here. I just recently moved here a few months ago and the hours have changed 2 times. Online it shows they are open several days a week until 6 pm. But when you call their answering machine says hours of 12-3 or something like that and now are only open 3 days a week. Please update your online info. It’s very misleading I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called and y’all were closed but online shows your open.”

“we love the dairy bar! we live about an hour away but will make special trips to come out for a malt shake & dinner. I LOVE their loaded baked potato, it's got the perfect amount of toppings but u can also ask for more of anything. they also have great burgers and the steak fries are such a treat. I've seen the salads and all the ingredients are fresh too. everyone who works there is so nice and their smiles are genuine. it is kept very clean and welcoming and we look forward to our next visit!!!!”

“We ate here Saturday night and enjoyed both the live music and dinner! We had the boiled shrimp & the Everything Salad. The shrimp seasoning was perfect and the salad was great, I added crispy chicken to my salad. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Will be back soon!”

“Chicken, and chicken gizzards are AWESOME. There hasn't been an item on their menu that I haven't enjoyed. Service has been good, although once my ordered item was incorrect. They corrected it without issue. It's a "fast food" place so the ambiance is "meh."”

“Wonderful cozy cafe. Our favorite catfish and shrimp place. Ronny and Sara are very friendly and treat you like family. The fried pies are delish. Waitresses are all very friendly as well Sara and Ronny’s mom Nancy is the cutest lil lady in the place. She is a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommend if you haven’t been you should go. Every thing is cooked fresh”

“I "discovered " Charley's Philly Steaks @ a truck stop on I-55 in Ill. about 5 years ago. As a driver I stop at a Charley's whenever I can (which is rare), as I need parking to facilitate the stop. Nonetheless I try to get there when possible, and have eaten at several different locations.Yesterday I had the luck to catch this location shortly after opening, and ordered the regular 9" Philly Steak with everything and extra meat. I must say that this was the ABSOLUTE BEST Philly Cheesesteak that I have had at ANY location, over about a dozen meals at various franchise locations. It was absolutely the BOMB!!!I will be back.......Parking: Semi truck parking is opposite the fuel pump. Car parking is on the West side of the building.Kid-friendliness: Nice dining area with plenty of room for families or singles.”
