“My husband took me to El Manna Mex-Tex restaurant in Emory, Tx on our 10th wedding anniversary. When we walked in it is so spacious, there are tables, booths and a bar area. We had the two beef enchilada platter OMG!!!! Everything was fresh We have found our new Mex-Tex restaurant for sure. The service was excellent so nice and friendly ( Shout out to Tony) attended to our every need even wished us a happy anniversary. This place I highly recommend they deserve more than 5 stars.”

“Bought a 14' utility trailer in 2017 and have had next to no issues that weren't caused by my actions. All that was necessary for me to replace was the tires, and this is to be expected after years/miles of use. I recently bent an axle after taking a turn to sharp, the shop and the office employees were great about getting me a replacement axle the same day that I called, they even stayed a little after 5 PM so I could pick up the replacement. I would buy another trailer from Longhorn tomorrow if needed.”

“We were in the area and wanted to try something new. The parking was easy. We were greeted when we walked in and told we could pick our table. We chose a table in the front room. Looking around we noticed the warm wooden tones and country charm. The menu looked good and while we waited on our food we got our sweet teas. Yum. We thoroughly liked them. Be prepared because they come in quart sized mason jars. I even had a second one. (Tuesday, 02/24/2026)”

“My wife and I came in 20min before closing on a Friday night to find Ariana behind the counter. Big smile and amazing customer service as if they had just opened! She took care with our food and was so nice and outgoing. I go to subways all over the country and I just go to get food quick and out the door. This was enjoyable for real!

The food was good. It was presented fresh and tasted the same.

If I’m coming back thru during meal time, as I usually am when I pass thru Emery, TX, I will stop here!”

“We stopped at this location on a recent Friday afternoon on a road trip, so we where just passing through and needed something fast. This location was great, the ladies that helped us where nice, fast and you could tell the food was made with care (taste, burritos wrapped right, etc.) At Taco Bell you never know what you are going to get with it comes to food and people (see my other Taco Bell reviews, I have seen it all), but they where great here. Even the person that was with me thought the same things about this locations. I wish this was the Taco Bell in my area. Keep up the great job!!”

“We are out-of-town visitors who happened by on July 4th :) Though it was quite busy (around 12pm) as expected, the young lady who served us was calm, collected, and sweet as Honey.

It reminded us of that classic Friends episode where they drop the cheesecake on the floor and still can’t resist eating it. That’s exactly how we felt! “The waitress that waited our table was nice and friendly. She took our orders fairly quickly, but it seemed to take forever before the food got to the table. Again, the waitress was nice and kept our glasses filled while we were waiting. The fried Bologna sandwich was really good, and the other food orders were good as well. The prices were a little high for the area, but to be fair, there weren't many places available for a decent meal.”

“I generally don't eat at Italian restaurants because I'm Italian and most places don't compare to true Italian cooking. But we ate at Verona's for the first time with a large group of friends last weekend.
First of all, staff are amazing! 👏👏👏 They handled a group of 15 with separate checks like pros. The restaurant itself is also very pretty and homey. We felt comfortable there right away.
The food was average to good, but again, I'm going to be a tough critic here. I tried a friend's pasta. It was too overcooked for me and the sauce was a little heavy handed, but the person eating it loved it, so who am I to judge? My husband had the pizza which he said was pretty good, not great, but the best he's had so far in east Texas (he worked in NYC and CT for several years, so again, the bar has been set high!) I had the grilled chicken Caesar salad, which was very good. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Try the lemon cake. I'd eat here again just for that cake! The chocolate mousse cake looked amazing too. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal here. The place was clean, the food was tasty and well prepared, service was excellent. Anything else is just personal preference.”
