Worth going just for the gumbo...
My wife and I ate here and will.definitely be back. Food is seasoned and cooked perfectly and all staff were so friendly.

Lake Fork Fish House is a favorite place to eat, known for its all you can eat buffet at an amazing price. The food is all fresh and cooked with love, and the place is clean. The people are friendly, and the waitresses are attentive and nice. The buffet has a great variety of food, including a salad bar along with boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, fried fish and baked fish, smothered pork chops, hush puppies, corn nuggets, French fries and sweet potatoe fries, carrot broccoli cauliflower mix and sausage slices. Side dishes include gumbo with rice, bake potatoes and rolls. Desserts are composed of different cobblers such as peach, apple, chocolate and pecan, and there is a soft serve ice cream machine for chocolate or vanilla ice cream. A menu is also available if you don't want the buffet. The gumbo was awesome. The fried fish is delicious, and the shrimp is seasoned and cooked just right. The staff is prompt and diligent, keeping the hot food coming out. The owner is a great guy. Expect the place to be busy, as everyone in the tri-county area knows about it and wants to be at the front of the line when the doors open. It is only open Friday and Saturday. This place is definitely worth giving a try and is highly recommended.
