“I stopped in 2/18/26 it was about 7pm, the owner really needs to consider some outside lighting, a youg girl was sweeping the outside area in front of the store. I ask if she was was getting ready to close, and she so very polite, told me no ma'am we are just cleaning, pleasant surprise, inside was immaculate, and she and the other young lady were the most attentive young ladies I have encountered in a long time, the food was exactly as I ordered. The store was clean, the service was excellent. I will drive the extra 20 minutes the next time I want subway”

“My fishing partner and I have been to the neon moon many times on our trips to lake fork and we have always been impressed with the food and the friendly environment.. I mean where else can you get all you can eat Mexican food for $10.00.. Our waitress Tabby works her tail off making sure we are always taken care of..I recommend this place for sure!”

“Weve eaten at Jackys quite a few times for lunch and dinners. Food is very good, arrives hot and timely. We went for Valentines a couple of yrs ago and that dinner was great. Excellent, friendly service and reasonably priced.”

“Food was good. Waitstaff not so much. Not very engaging of friendly. Just take the order and walk off while you’re still talking. Waitress was literally throwing menus on one table as customers were coming to sit down. Several people around us even commented how unprofessional that was. I’m probably the only one willing to speak out though. Small town folks want to be treated better than this.”

“I generally don't eat at Italian restaurants because I'm Italian and most places don't compare to true Italian cooking. But we ate at Verona's for the first time with a large group of friends last weekend.
First of all, staff are amazing! 👏👏👏 They handled a group of 15 with separate checks like pros. The restaurant itself is also very pretty and homey. We felt comfortable there right away.
The food was average to good, but again, I'm going to be a tough critic here. I tried a friend's pasta. It was too overcooked for me and the sauce was a little heavy handed, but the person eating it loved it, so who am I to judge? My husband had the pizza which he said was pretty good, not great, but the best he's had so far in east Texas (he worked in NYC and CT for several years, so again, the bar has been set high!) I had the grilled chicken Caesar salad, which was very good. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Try the lemon cake. I'd eat here again just for that cake! The chocolate mousse cake looked amazing too. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal here. The place was clean, the food was tasty and well prepared, service was excellent. Anything else is just personal preference.”

“We got a calzon and a spaghetti with meat sauce to go and it was wonderful . We were staying at Lake Fork and It made a cold stormy night a cozy memory despite A&M losing . They give you a huge serving for leftovers . Definitely a new must have next fishing trip .”

“The waitress that waited our table was nice and friendly. She took our orders fairly quickly, but it seemed to take forever before the food got to the table. Again, the waitress was nice and kept our glasses filled while we were waiting. The fried Bologna sandwich was really good, and the other food orders were good as well. The prices were a little high for the area, but to be fair, there weren't many places available for a decent meal.”

“We were hungry for meat, been in Galveston for the last 7 days , we ate good but mostly seafood and a lot of it !! So looked on TripAdvisor to find good meat , And Big Smiths looked good , so off we went !! And it was the best BBQ I have ever had in Texas !! We both ordered 1/2 rack of Pork Ribs the were fork tender and so good !!”

“Judge Hunt's BBQ prepared the food for my in-laws anniversary party. We picked it up from them before the event. It was hot and delicious. The brisket is THE BEST! We also had smoked chicken breast and sausage. Beans and Potato salad prepared by them. I don't eat out much, but I will be having more brisket from Judge Hunts in the future. So good!”

“Stopped by for something fast, fresh, easy and that's exactly what I got. I ordered a chicken wrap, 6 macadamia nut cooked and a medium Dr Pepper. Everything tasted worderful, it was done in good time especially since the person making mine was very new. My big kuddos goes to the lady who I assume is a shift manager. If she's not in management, she should be. They appeared to be way understaffed but she was calm and helpful to customers and her trainee. I was very impressed by my first visit which is why for sure come back. I wish I remembered her name because she was for sure a big part of why my visit went so well.”
