“Food was good. Waitstaff not so much. Not very engaging of friendly. Just take the order and walk off while you’re still talking. Waitress was literally throwing menus on one table as customers were coming to sit down. Several people around us even commented how unprofessional that was. I’m probably the only one willing to speak out though. Small town folks want to be treated better than this.”

“We are regulars at Red Dome, 3 or 4 times a week . In the last week I have had to send food back because it wasn’t fresh or hot. I had blackened catfish it was cold and tough. Tonight the Mac & cheese was very cold and I sent it back to be heated. The potato and onions were warm but they were not fresh. Brad if you are reading this please talk to your kitchen staff they can do better.”

“Judge Hunt's BBQ prepared the food for my in-laws anniversary party. We picked it up from them before the event. It was hot and delicious. The brisket is THE BEST! We also had smoked chicken breast and sausage. Beans and Potato salad prepared by them. I don't eat out much, but I will be having more brisket from Judge Hunts in the future. So good!”

“Stopped by for something fast, fresh, easy and that's exactly what I got. I ordered a chicken wrap, 6 macadamia nut cooked and a medium Dr Pepper. Everything tasted worderful, it was done in good time especially since the person making mine was very new. My big kuddos goes to the lady who I assume is a shift manager. If she's not in management, she should be. They appeared to be way understaffed but she was calm and helpful to customers and her trainee. I was very impressed by my first visit which is why for sure come back. I wish I remembered her name because she was for sure a big part of why my visit went so well.”

“I have just spent a very exhausting few minutes at the Sonic in Quitman, TX. Usually, the workers are very good!! The one who helped us today either needs a hearing aid or had other problems. On the speaker I could hear it was very noisy inside. He could not hear us. He finally came out to take the order and it was awful!!! He still couldn't hear us. All I wanted was 3 chicken strips and a Large Vanilla Diet Coke. He didn't/wouldn't understand us. He asked us what size, we told him," just 3 C.S." When he finally understood the 3, he wanted to know if we wanted 3 dinners with 3 strips. We finally got him to understand!!! Then, when I got my order, I was shocked at the price! $8.00 and more! They didn't give us the receipt.Then, I drove away and got a sip of my V. D. Coke and it was warm to the taste and touch!! I took the lid off and there was hardly any ice in it. I was already tired and hot so I came on home. But, I think you needed to know what happened today.

“THIS is a stop you don’t want to miss! 🍔❤ I absolutely LOVE this little small-town burger joint! It’s packed with history, personality, and that old-fashioned charm you just can’t recreate. Every time we’re passing through, I get excited about stopping in! The burgers are great, and the staff are always so kind and friendly, making you feel right at home.

One of my favorite things to do is search the walls for our own notes! 😂 It’s like a little treasure hunt every visit, and finding your own among all the others never gets old! The location is fantastic, too, with tons of cute shops and antique stores nearby, making it the perfect stop to grab a bite before or after a little shopping adventure.

Places like this are what make exploring small towns so much fun! Great food, wonderful people, a rich history, and a unique atmosphere you just can’t find everywhere. We’ll keep coming back every chance we get! A true Mineola gem that’s absolutely worth the stop! 🙌🍔”

“Our first, but definitely not our last, visit! Hubby got the 6oz. filet, house salad and sweet potato fries. I ordered the blackened shrimp, house salad and squash.
