“La Dona catered an event for us and we couldn’t have been happier!! The food was great and their service was top notch! Highly recommend them for all your catering needs!!”
“The Best BBQ in Texas for Brisket and Pulled Pork. I know there are many great places. I have eaten a lot of BBQ, all over the state, most of the top rated places. When it comes to a moist and tender Brisket, I have never eaten better. The pulled pork is better than Brisket at most other restaurants and has a rich, full flavored smoke.Happy to see them expand from a trailer to a full restaurant.”
“Discovered this cute gem through a quick yelp search when I had a craving for ice cream. I absolutely love this place for many reasons; it's cute and located in a nice park area of downtown and most importantly offers so many unique ice cream flavors. I'm a sucker for limited edition flavors so of course I had to try the "Steal My Sunshine" flavor special for the solar eclipse happening tomorrow. This consisted of a toasted black sesame with a cream cheese swirl which was very unique and tasty! With unique flavors like this I assume they make their own ice cream which is another huge plus. My overall experience was great! They were super busy and the staff did a great job at tending to everyone. This shop really does share the magic!”
“Stop in to this great coffee shop on our way to Dallas everyone in are super sweet! Katie and Sydney were amazing and so sweet!! Definitely stop by if in the area!!”
“All you can eat fish and shrimp Buffett. Only thing I don't like is the line to get your food. It's set up like A school cafeteria when you go in line and get your tray. Most buffets have it to were you can walk around the island and you don't have to wait in line. Food was very good. Staff was very friendly. Clean environment.”
“Their lunch menus was small but wonderful. It was a little after 2 PM when we stopped in. We were sad to see Joe’s out of business :-(The amount of food was almost too much for lunch and the my Steak Sammie was so delicious! The Chicken Sammie was also a hit. Their house dressing on the salad was so yummy and the drizzled balsamic glaze & parm dusting over the fries and Sammie’s was a wonder touch of flavor! Always love downtown Sulfur Spring vibe= best small town in East TX!!!!”
“This place is one of if not the best restaurants in Sulphur Springs Tx, I don't understand why people would give this place a one star review but not this guy. Also the small order of fries was large enough to feed my girlfriend and I.”
“The jalepenos thingies were pretty good I ate two orders on my own. The Philly cheesesteak was also very good. Peoples were nice and the inside seating was also pretty cool. Little expensive but I'd say worth ”
“This place is really nice, I like the country home town cafe feeling of the place. The food is really good and staff is really kind. The owner is one of the nicest people i've ever met and it was a pleasure to meet her.”
“Great place to eat breakfast, welcoming atmosphere and customer service was excellent. We were greeted and we chose a table with booth and chairs. Fun, western, country music decor environment, barnwood walls, We both had breakfast plate specials, and they were hot when brought to the table, the biscuit and gravy was warm and memorable.Definitely try this one out, unfortunately they aren't open on Sunday's. So schedule some time to visit this gem on one of the other days like we did. I spoke with the staff and until the influx of customers picks up, their hours will remain the same for now. This little joint is right in the heart of Yantis and had been redone in and out, apparently for the better. So if it's been a while since your family hadn't eaten here or your looking for a cool new place with friendly people try this place and you won't be disappointed.God Bless.”
“Great tea & coffee options, and the woman making the drinks was so friendly. She treated everyone who walked in like family. I stayed to get work done for a couple hours, and it is definitely worth stopping in.”
“My wife and I had a very pleasant experience, the food was great and the service was outstanding. Our waiter looked like Lou Diamond Philips. From " Young Guns."”
“Love it when I can swing by El Charro's in Sulphur Springs. I love the soft cheese dinner, and I start with Shredded chicken nachos. The staff are super kind and always remember me. The old booths are like stepping back in time.”
“I came here with my mom and sister we got some great tacos! Nice picnic table behind the food truck has shade and good breeze coming in despite the hot weather. Lots of meat. Great, spicy sauce..very nice people. Overall great experience.”
“Was in town from maryland visiting a high school friend.Food was good service was great.Atmosphere brought me back to a time past, when kids could be kids and actually play on real playground equipment.Love the area.”
“Great place. Humble pizza spot that’s comfortable as soon as you walk in. Attentive service, cooks seem to be in touch with the food and cool to see them eyeball doughs to perfection, and a hands on owner that seems both wholesome and hardworking.”
“This is the Gem of Sulphur Springs, for us Beer lovers of course. First, typical brewery with great beer. But they one up it with a Wine and hard Seltzer selection, for the ladies in our lives that ma not be as keen on beer. Second, Live entertainment. Obviously depends on the night but live entertainment is always a plus and the gentleman playing the guitar tonight was great. Third, Charles. The proprietor was a great guy and worth a visit on his own. I love great bartenders and owners who love what they do, this is Charles. Finally, I was "That Guy" so I can say to all the others, just because they don't sell the mass market piss water, Breweries and craft beer is NOT a millennial thing. We Gen Xers started it and because we were being punk rock, going against the machine of BL, Miller, etc. If you want a good beer at a good price, try this place. It is a stand out in Sulpher Springs, which is an awesome place on it's own. And yes, I live here and run a Farm. Yes, a well traveled farmer boy can appreciate a good beer that does not make big corporate types richer and instead supports the local community. You need this place. Oh, before I forget, they will have food very soon (in days).”
“I am NOT a fan of BBQ. I grew up this way my whole life. Very seldomly do I ever want to eat it. Happened to have a craving for some and decided on this place. I absolutely loved it ♥️ anytime I get a craving, this is the place I go~ staff is super friendly, food is on point, worth the visit especially if you happen to enjoy southern comfort food.”
“My jaw drop this place is awesome. The people the customers that were sitting at the table was so polite and the entire staff very professional love the place highly recommended.”
“The food was GREAT!!! I had chicken enchiladas and my husband had beef enchiladas. Our food was hot (temperature). Their salsa is so daggum good. I had to limit my chips so I wouldn't fill up on the salsa.Gloria was our server. She was spot on.Parking: No problem finding a parking spot.Wheelchair accessibility: You'd be able to get in with your handicap needs”
“The catfish and hush puppies were great, but the fries were not. They were soaked in grease from sitting too long or even refried. I was thankful I wasn’t very hungry.”
“The food here is better than ANY taco truck I have EVER had! I was in Sulphur Springs for one day and ate here twice!I thoroughly enjoyed al pastor, and carne asada tacos, as well as a quesadilla with added onions & jalapeños.I hope to find myself in the area again just to eat here!”
“I found this place by mistake, turns out I was hungry. The place is kinda hidden you can drive by really fast without noticing it. The foods OK, really friendly people and the best I can tell the place is spotless. If you wanna help a small family business compete in today's economy stop by and say hello.”
“Must visit winery in the square. Wine is locally grown in Texas and has a variety of wines. My husband and I stopped by to do a tasting and were really impressed that SS had this in town. Our waitress was super helpful and I let her pick my three ones. Overall my fav was the Angelic Pearl. Would come back!”
“I have dined in and have had take out orders from Reba’s. The food has been wonderful every time I have went. I had the brisket plate today and it was probably the best I have had in this area. The fried pies are next level and the best I have ever had… Apple, Bavarian cream and Coconut are my favorites! They have a very friendly staff and very clean an warm environment.Their Take A Bake options had wonderful choices from Chicken or Beef Enchiladas to their John Wayne Casserole and many other favorites. If you are looking for good food with great service Reba’s is the place to go.”
“The Glazed donuts are fresh everyday but I like the biscuits with sausage and egg and cheese sandwich. They have lots on the menu. Nice to have you in our small town.”
“We were hungry for meat, been in Galveston for the last 7 days , we ate good but mostly seafood and a lot of it !! So looked on TripAdvisor to find good meat , And Big Smiths looked good , so off we went !! And it was the best BBQ I have ever had in Texas !! We both ordered 1/2 rack of Pork Ribs the were fork tender and so good !!”
“This place is LEGIT! I have been searching for authentic Cabeza y Asada tacos for YEARS in TX. This place went one better and offered GORDITAS. Their green sauce is Spicy but SUPER flavorful and I could put more than a drop on each taco. They have the PERFECT ratio of onions to cilantro and serve it on the side. The Cabeza was seasoned to perfection and the Gorditas de Asada had onions and peppers, it was AMAZING. I live 3 hours away and WILL be back!”
“The food was delicious and the Sushi was the best I've ever had from any sushi restaurant, the service was great and I definitely would recommend this place to all of my friends and family.”
“The BEST PIES EVER! Every time I eat here, I try something new and have never been disappointed. Try it once and you'll become a regular. The staff don't feel like "staff", it's more like going to a family get together. Friendly, courteous and warm.”
