“If we could give this place 100 stars we would. Amazing service, friendly faces from the girl working the register to even the owner walking around greeting and chatting to folks. Unique atmosphere, very pretty and laid back! But the food! WOW! It was delicious. Everything we had was amazing. We started with onion rings, which were great! Not your average onion rings. They were huge and the breading was crispy and perfect! I got the fried jack chicken sandwich, it was incredible and huge portion! Had to save half for later. My husband got the hot honey chicken sandwich, he also had leftovers and said it was delicious. Fries were homemade and also great! If you are passing through like we were or locals you have to try this place!! So glad we did, and will make a special trip to come back!”

“Had a great experience at this Starbucks location in Mt. Vernon! The two baristas working were absolutely wonderful — friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They took the time to walk me through their recommendations and even offered a free sample of their protein foam so I could try before committing. That little extra touch made all the difference. You can tell they actually enjoy their jobs, and it shows in how they treat customers. Will definitely be coming back!”

Literally one minute after 10:30 and they will deny your breakfast order.

“I have been going to this place since it was in the house on 7th and I-35. Best TRUE Tex-Mex (or as we always called it, Mexican) food restaurants around. I think this type of food is becoming a lost art when you move away from the Texas border, where it began. People are so much about Fajitas and fancy style Mexican food nowadays, they don't appreciate the traditional flavors. I grew up on the cheese enchiladas with carne sauce. They bring the taco before the rest of the meal. All very traditional and awesome! Mexican Martini's are great and if you haven't tried the lemonade, I highly recommend it! The service is also very good. Glad to see a family owned place like this still thriving in the ever changing Austin landscape. Hope to go there for many years to come!”
