“It is a small place so don't go in expecting grand seating. They do take care of you, they have just a small selection of draft beer. Pizza is delicious. It's a nice atmosphere for a small pizzeria. My wife and I go every 3-4 mo as we are passing through.”

“We were visiting Sulphur Springs from Montreal Canada and had to stop in. This place is amazing! We sampled 8 different beers and loved every one! The young man (Austin) who gave us a tour was very knowledgeable and clearly loves his job. We ordered the southern poutine from Hops and Chops and it was excellent!! I will definitely come back.”

“Had lunch today with my Sisters, we always like to go when we're in the area. We enjoy the food and atmosphere. However today the waitress dropped hot gravy on my arm, yes it did burn. I am 65 and a diabetic so it burned awhile longer I guess. She did apologize of course but I would have thought that they would have discounted my food or threw in dessert at least. My Sisters agreed, not great Customer Service/experience. while I can't say anything bad about the food, it was good as usual. Thanks, Dallas, Tx.”

“I live over an hour away from Sulphur Springs, but I regularly work around this area. About once a week I pick up pork tacos and the quesadillas. This is the best taco truck in East Texas and just might be the best tacos I have ever had!! I now have to bring tacos back home for some friends I have turned on to them. Delicious!!!”

Dietary restrictions: I have gluten and dairy intolerances and I had an easy time choosing food, we will eat here again when we are in town.”

“Sweet Rice is one of our favorite places to eat in Sulphur Springs! The food is amazing and Lily always takes great care of us! I have a severe gluten sensitivity and struggle to find safe places to eat that do not make me sick. It’s so nice to have Sweet Rice as a safe and delicious dining option! Their menu lists many gluten free options and if an item isn’t marked, Lily has helped show me which items can be modified to fit my dietary restrictions. My family and I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Why isn't it the law that anyone that fix people's food in public have to wear a hair net? I went Braums this week ordered a double dip hot fudge sundae. I paid for it turned to go enjoy it. And looked at it ? there between the ice cream and whip cream was a long hair. I looked at the people working there no one had a hair net on. No I couldn't eat one bite I turned back around showed the sundae to the girl that had fixed it. She said uck I'm so sorry. It wasn't her hair I don't know how but it was definitely some one that works there she had her back turned to me the whole time she was fixing it. It was woven into between the ice cream and the topping. Yes if you look on the sweater are shirts there wearing there are hair's. The health dept needs to make everyone wear hair nets when handling other people's food. Same thing happened at DQ the lady sitting beside us had a hair in her fries when the manager brought them out. The manager apologized said she would get her fresh fries. The lady was smart and said she didn't want fries but would take onion rings. No one has a hair net on at DQ !”

“We were hungry for meat, been in Galveston for the last 7 days , we ate good but mostly seafood and a lot of it !! So looked on TripAdvisor to find good meat , And Big Smiths looked good , so off we went !! And it was the best BBQ I have ever had in Texas !! We both ordered 1/2 rack of Pork Ribs the were fork tender and so good !!”

This was the first location I had gone to, to try out their health teas and shakes, and have never been disappointed once. I am definitely more of a tea person, in general, so I love their teas. I love the energy and deliciousness they provide me, but most importantly, every visit to this store is happy. “What a great find for a healthy drink on a long road trip!We got smoothies which are made with real fruit and they have some things you can add if you want. The shop has lots of hand-made items and things from their farm.Right next to a nice main street and some EV chargers. Stumbled across the town and would have loved to stay longer!”

“These are the nastiest wings I ever had in my life, I ordered a 16 piece lemon pepper hot wing and they sent one order of bland hot wings with curly frys and a order of no flavor tasteless wings with cury frys I did not know chicken could be so bland and nasty. we didn't even eat them they're just sitting there, we did not even have dinner because it was so bad.”

“It’s incredibly clean inside! You can see all the way to the back and it’s spotless in the kitchen as well! The brisket was moist and delicious. And they got a sale on pulled pork sandwiches for $4.99 right now! That’s a heck of a good deal. As a trucker it’s nice to not eat the same fast food at every stop. This was a good change of pace. They have a real dining room with plenty of tables and chairs which was much appreciated. I recommend giving them a shot.”

“You get what you pay for here. The pizza is solid but honestly it can be hit or miss. The supreme is good and I really like the new thin crust. You can't beat it for the price but don't think they will have pepperoni and cheese hot and ready as advertised. We typically have to wait even for a regular cheese or pepperoni.”
