“It is a small place so don't go in expecting grand seating. They do take care of you, they have just a small selection of draft beer. Pizza is delicious. It's a nice atmosphere for a small pizzeria. My wife and I go every 3-4 mo as we are passing through.”

“I live over an hour away from Sulphur Springs, but I regularly work around this area. About once a week I pick up pork tacos and the quesadillas. This is the best taco truck in East Texas and just might be the best tacos I have ever had!! I now have to bring tacos back home for some friends I have turned on to them. Delicious!!!”

“Great for all ages! This place is an absolute delight. The BEST homemade ice cream you will ever eat. Excellent variety of flavors. Very gracious with inclusions. You will not have to dig around for them! Lots of neat items to look at in the store as well. They offer games to play during your visit (on most of the tables and upstairs lofts). This is one stop you can’t miss!!!”

“The customer service is spot on. A gentleman noticed that my son wasn't drinking much of his drink, and took it to "doctor it" a bit so my son would drink it. Then he checked to make sure that he really liked it. 10/10 will be coming back solely for that. Besides that, even when they were busy on Grand Opening day, the lovelies at the counter were still working hard to get everyone's drinks as quickly as possible. The Mermaid Cascade with strawberry and red bull is an absolute delight! 😊”

“I drive about 60 miles round trip to eat here. (Sulphur Springs, Texas) The staff is very friendly and the food is outstanding! There isn't any other BBQ we like as much as Soulsman's!! We have friends from out of state who occasionally pass thru on I-30. We always suggest we meet them there. They are never disappointed.

“I had a 2-meat plate with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The meats tasted fabulous and so did the mac and cheese. To me the mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. The consistency was off and needed some butter. I love apple cobbler so I tried the apple cobbler. It looked great but the crust was a little to soft. The apples were firm but the filling was missing something. We came for the BBQ and will definitely be back for the BBQ.”

“This guy has the BEST tasting authentic Mexican food in all of Hopkins County, dude puts so much love and effort into his cooking and it reflects in the food you're eating! He also has Aguas Frescas that are amazing! My favorite is the Watermelon flavored one, and my wife's favorite is of course, Horchata! His salsas are amazing, green and red, and sometimes he has Birria Tacos that are the best I've ever had. And to Top it all off, it's AFFORDABLE! We love this guy.”

The shop has lots of hand-made items and things from their farm.Right next to a nice main street and some EV chargers. Stumbled across the town and would have loved to stay longer!”

“Sweet Rice is one of our favorite places to eat in Sulphur Springs! The food is amazing and Lily always takes great care of us! I have a severe gluten sensitivity and struggle to find safe places to eat that do not make me sick. It’s so nice to have Sweet Rice as a safe and delicious dining option! Their menu lists many gluten free options and if an item isn’t marked, Lily has helped show me which items can be modified to fit my dietary restrictions. My family and I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Why isn't it the law that anyone that fix people's food in public have to wear a hair net? I went Braums this week ordered a double dip hot fudge sundae. I paid for it turned to go enjoy it. And looked at it ? there between the ice cream and whip cream was a long hair. I looked at the people working there no one had a hair net on. No I couldn't eat one bite I turned back around showed the sundae to the girl that had fixed it. She said uck I'm so sorry. It wasn't her hair I don't know how but it was definitely some one that works there she had her back turned to me the whole time she was fixing it. It was woven into between the ice cream and the topping. Yes if you look on the sweater are shirts there wearing there are hair's. The health dept needs to make everyone wear hair nets when handling other people's food. Same thing happened at DQ the lady sitting beside us had a hair in her fries when the manager brought them out. The manager apologized said she would get her fresh fries. The lady was smart and said she didn't want fries but would take onion rings. No one has a hair net on at DQ !”

“It’s incredibly clean inside! You can see all the way to the back and it’s spotless in the kitchen as well! The brisket was moist and delicious. And they got a sale on pulled pork sandwiches for $4.99 right now! That’s a heck of a good deal. As a trucker it’s nice to not eat the same fast food at every stop. This was a good change of pace. They have a real dining room with plenty of tables and chairs which was much appreciated. I recommend giving them a shot.”
