Burgers & Fries is a local favorite on College Street in Sulphur Springs. The chili cheese fries and cheeseburger are must-try items, full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. The boss meal is surprisingly delicious even without a bun. The chocolate cake is moist and delightful. The staff is incredibly helpful and caring, adding a special touch to the dining experience.
Customers praise the hand-pressed burgers, which are good-sized and juicy but not greasy. The small fries are more like a medium portion. Diners can enjoy a cheeseburger, cheddar jack burger, and two small fries for around $20. The restaurant is known for its community involvement and awards.
Reviewers describe the food as amazing, and one customer felt right at home and recommends this "perfect mom and pop place" to others. The owner is praised for being kind and always behind the counter cooking, and the staff is described as the kindest. The fries are the star, always fresh, real, and hot, with the fry salt being a favorite.
