Bluebonnet Bistro is a small, cute little bistro located in Emory, off the beaten path. It has 6 to 8 tables inside and some outdoor seating, so visiting at non-peak hours is advisable. The restaurant serves good comfort food, including a French dip, chef salad, omelette with country potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and potato cakes. The food is very tasty, not overly greasy, well seasoned, and served piping hot with ample portions. Service is excellent, with friendly, efficient servers who are generous with coffee refills. It used to be a Greek restaurant years ago, but this bistro is a little gem worth a stop for breakfast or lunch.
