Brisket sandwich was big and the sauce is not overpowering. Beans so meaty they could stand on their own as a meal. The banana pudding is thick and rich. John's got jokes AND you kinda feel like you've been to church! What more could you ask for?

He baked a Turkey for me for Thanksgiving with pineapple inside and he was able to work with us on all my allergies and most of my family won't eat turkey n it was the best turkey we have all ever had. 10/10!!!!!!

Stumbled on this place while exploring Canton First Monday. What a treat! We were craving good BBQ. Got us some great ribs, turkey leg, sausage and beans. BIG YUM! They did a wonderful Job packing this up for the long drive home and the lady behind the counter was super sweet. Just like their refreshing tea. Thanks for the yummy grub! We’ll def be taking about ya’ll!!

I had this bbq for first time today & was blown away! I am a general manager of a restaurant and his customer service is unmatched. I recommend ribs, garlic pepper jack sausage, banana pudding, beans! I love his story and will always support this company!

There's a reason they don't post prices on the menu, they are outrageous. My daughter-in-law ordered 4 ribs, and a plain baked potato. 4 individual ribs, NOT 4 lbs. Was charged $13 for a plain baked potato and over $25 for the ribs. Her total was over $42. BTW, she is special needs and subsists on Social Security benefits. Our two sandwiches were cold and absolutely full of fat. Two sandwiches for $28? That's crap. I'll go to Bodacious all day long and pay half that for a better product.

My husband and I had a sample of BBQ & a Prayer at the Red Dirt Festival this past weekend and we’ve been hooked since. Imagine my surprise when I looked them up on Facebook and seen they would be in Flint this week! We had the loaded potato for lunch today with banana pudding and hopefully we can get by again tomorrow. The owners are the most down to earth and kind people you will ever meet. From them feeding the police at the event to them simply just speaking so positively each team we’ve interacted with them, this is certainly a family worth supporting! We will eat at BBQ and a Prayer every chance we get because the food is so DELICIOUS and the owners are AMAZING!
