This was the best food I had during my trip to Canton. The service was excellent they test you like family. I highly recommend stopping if you are in the area.
The food was down home. The tres leches cake was wonderful. The ladies were nice and the atmosphere was great.

No idea about the food, it was closed despite Google saying it was open. It’s stuck back in some little Wild West tourist trap (also closed!) and you can’t even drive up to the restaurant. Not worth the detour off I-20 if Google can’t get the hours right and it’s this hard to find!

Nestled just off 20 in Canton Tx is a beautiful little mountain that time and more have left beyond for us to enjoy! It truly brings the "Wild West " alive. Buffalo Girls Cafe adjoins along with a cool vintage like"Old General Store" Including a gourmet sectionfilledwith seasonings, sauces and soups of great flavors! The Natural scents of pinion wood swarms the air! It has and many more interesting and unique shops. If you darehike up the Mountain, there sits at the top sits a pretty old chapel. It feels a bit like camping out but in "Old west style" Susan and Mike will work diligently till the end to make your visit great and comfortable with a few ammenities that were not available in the Old West! LOL. On !st Monday weekend, abundant shopping awaits only blocks away by a trolly bus! So take a trip "out west" to spend some pretty cool leisure time with "Buffalo Girls Hotel" at the Mountain! Nice location and great communication from the folks running the place. It is a very rustic place and in need of repair though. It is definitely pricey for what you get. Room comes with free coffee not a free breakfast. It is difficult to get around if you have balancing issues. There are lots of steps, uneven surfaces, gravel and if you have things to carry or not good walking this is not the place for you.

This is a fun place! It's doesn't have all the modern conveniences but it's not supposed to. Feels like the old west. It was very hot and muggy but that's just Texas. People/staff are friendly and helpful. Had a very nice time here.

This is a faux western town - really a bunch of rescued cabins and then an " old west' main building with a balcony. My room, Lonesome Dove was small but clean and had a nice flat screen tv. I was upgraded because the other room was small- I shiver to think about how small it might have been- because this one wasn't large-it also had a step down into the bathroom and the shower was tiny. I am very small and it was ok for me but someone larger could have a reasonable complaint. I found the whole place kind of cute and my room was clean. I could park directly in front because I was there on day that there was no market- if the trade days were happening, parking could have been a problem. Anyhow, its very funky and even though I think I may have been the only one in the motel , I count it as an experience and therefore better than a Days Inn;.
This is not a B&B. This is a motel and it’s run down and in a complete state of disrepair. Upon arrival, a huge wasps nest was hanging above our door and the walls had holes in them. The curtain fell off the window when we opened the door and the air conditioner is a loud window unit. The decor is pure junk and looks like it’s rotting on some of the deer heads everywhere. All the light bulbs were out. Only one lamp worked. Shower was really old and gross. We paid a ridiculous price for this type of room because the website is very misleading. I checked out a day early due to the conditions and was unable to get a refund. Very disappointed in this place.
