I "discovered " Charley's Philly Steaks @ a truck stop on I-55 in Ill. about 5 years ago. As a driver I stop at a Charley's whenever I can (which is rare), as I need parking to facilitate the stop. Family friendly place, great food and not much else like it in the area. Clean tables, friendly and accommodating staff. High chairs for my kids and everything. Love the wings, good assortment of flavors. Always seasonally decorated, and the management especially are peachy! Will come here whenever I hit the ol' dusty trail.
The lobby was very bright with wintery decor, very nice to see. The cashier was friendly and reminded me about my points to use! Food was nice and fresh and they remembered my no onions which is always nice.
