Drinks were fine, but the service was awful. After a 2 hour roadtrip we stopped in Canton to stretch our legs. On a Sunday afternoon this was one of the only stops open, and boy were they pissed about it. We walked in at 2:35 pm, and they close at 3 pm. We were not greeted, we were the only ones in there and I had to ask if I could order because no one would approach the counter while I waited. They was no gratitude, and the servers were very short. This is some of the worst service I’ve received, which was so disappointing because it seems so cute. We won’t be back after this experience.
Two large drinks and a slice of banana loaf cost $20… super overpriced for the poor experience.

Ordered my granddaughter's gender reveal cake at Latham's in Canton. It turned out so beautiful and it was absolutely delicious! Everyone loved it!

Smaller place. Not to much walking space as they packed alot of tables and chairs into a tiny spot. Service was on the slow side. Food was not something I would go back for. Have gotten better sandwiches elsewhere, and the 2 soups ordered tasted metallic like they came from can not homemade. Their sweets looked good although we didn't try them and there was alot to choose from.

Spent $5 on a cinnamon roll that was old and disgusting. I literally took two bites of it, regretted it, and threw it away.
The cheese cake was old too, so we threw away the majority of our order.

ordered a hot chocolate, a spinach and goat cheese quiche, and a slice of cheesecake. cheesecake had great texture, hot chocolate was delicious, and they had forgotten about the quiche for about 20 minutes but as soon as I said something to a staffmember, they had it fixed and handed out immediately. great service and food!

Stopped in to get breakfast and asked the young lady that worked there what she would recommend. She suggested the breakfast sandwich with bacon and avocado and it was great! The buttermilk biscuit reminded me of the good ol days. The vibe was great, nice quiet, old fashioned yet modern. Great coffee as well. 5 stars all around.

This is the third time I’ve ordered online 15 mins before showing and still had to wait over 15 minutes in line for Watered-down iced coffee and cold food. Zero logic.
They have the perfect spot for online pickup — but instead, they slap a “Pick up at register” sign on it. The incompetence is amazing. Why force everyone to the register, crowding the whole store?
I don’t know if it’s a power trip or just irrational thinking. Either way, I don’t think I’ll return. Next time I’m trying the new bakery opening next to the barbershop. They’re cool people.
Sorry For the misspellings andy grammatical errors, I have to use talk to text because I'm driving and I have no time for the bs ........edit: I hear you, you just don't hear me. The ice was melted and my food was cold multiple times. Other restaurants don't have a problem. Write there name bigger, idk. As a customer I want timely, good food. It not much to ask for. I don't need excuses you just need to think of the customer. People have lives, work, and schedules to get back to. I'm not trying to be harsh. I would want somebody to tell me If that was my business.
We have two gluten free girls due to allergies, not choice! Eating while traveling is always an issue for us. Not only did they have gluten free bread, but the staff was clearly educated on allergies.
In addition, the food was all super fresh and very high quality. We stayed here for 4 days and ate here multiple times a day. Highly recommended

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and when I walked in the customers were polite and speaking with everyone. I love the atmosphere it was warm and inviting. I would most definitely be going back there again even though I drove 40 minutes there and back it was worth it.

Continues to have great food at competitive prices. Needs to give greater attention to the hygiene of customer tables. All-in-all a great place to enjoy a meal and a really great dessert.

I kick myself for not stopping in sooner since I’m from Van Zandt county. This place is beyond top notch. I can’t wait to get back in there to try lunch options.

Cute place, friendly staff, coffee taste great
I hated to go to Subway, but the experience I had here was comically terrible.
My qualms with this store are more to their staff than anything else. I chose to take my patronage elsewhere as I absolutely could not stand the cashiers.
As I walked in, the first cashier had her back toward me. When she heard the door she kind of rolled her head over her shoulder to look at me, up and down, then resumed talking to the other cashier. No greeting, no acknowledgement that I even entered her store, just a cold look to then be completely ignored.
Before I ordered, I asked about their pesto. Pesto has parmesan, some parmesan has animal rennet, of which I can not eat. When I asked about the ingredients, the first cashier looked at the second, gave her a wide-eyed look and said “Uhh, I don’t know.” The second cashier looked me dead in the eye and told me it was pesto. Pesto, there was pesto in the pesto.
I swore my tongue started to bleed. I bit it so hard, to not tell them to, you know, go check. After an uncomfortable pause, she went into the back, grabbed the container and then held it OVER THE COUNTER for me to read. At this point, I was done, and seething to not show it. I quickly exited, took my business to Subway, and left it at that.
I would strongly recommend the first cashier, the tall blonde girl, to go moonlight in the back of a Sephora or somewhere where her personality is a bit more… palatable. I would ask the owner of the bakery to be far more discerning in their hiring practices to not ward off the unfortunate many who interact with this bakery’s workers.
All in all, I hope staffing changes are made and I can finally eat there in peace.
