We were with a group of 8 people. Service was excellent, especially on a Sunday after church. The salad bar was fresh and with plenty of options. The bean bar was great with pinto beans, ranch beans and vegetable soup. My wife and I had a cheeseburger and our friends had a chicken fried steak and burgers. The fries were freshly cut potatoes , not frozen. Everyone loved their food. The free ice cream at the end was an unexpected treat. Will def be back.

Just passing through on our way back home, and the loaded baked potatoes with the salad bar is fantastic. I highly recommend the pea salad on the salad bar. Good "down-home" service with complimentary Blue Bell Ice Cream!!!

We visited the night of the eclipse, and the staff were prepared for a larger crowd that never materialized. The restaurant is fairly spartan, both outside and in, but the food was generous in portions and tasty. They restaurant has a large salad bar that is very reasonably priced. Their loaded baked potatoes were huge. Burgers were good. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Prices were excellent and you could tell that it is a favorite with the locals.

Love the salad bar. This is the place my kids always want to go and they can be picky eaters. All the food I have tried there, I really enjoyed.

I wanted this place to be great but it missed the mark. While the burger was cooked perfect and tasty it was way too salty. Surely it was not 1/2 lb. as advertised. The thick cut fries were very greasy and undercooked. Not sure why employees treat it as a hangout up front. No less than 6 personal drink cups sitting on table when you walk in. Read restaurant 101 folks.Overall I might still come back just order differently. The staff was very friendly!!
