Have been going to Val's for years, never disappoints. Surprisingly, good Italian food in a small town. Wonderful garlic knots. I was trying to think of my favorite dish from here. Couldn't come up with just one.
What an unexpected surprise! We had terrific food and great service from Taylor (and others). My Val’s Chicken Special was outstanding! Lots of food and this was what I had for tomorrow. ?. The noise level was really loud, but it was Saturday night.

We have been faithful patrons to Vals. They have good pasta. (Their square pizza is the worst I've ever had, though.) However, tonight was NOT a good experience. It started with a messed up order. Instead of remaking it, they used the same food. Despite the extra wait, no consideration was given. They've always thrown in a couple of extra rolls. Nope. They charged us extra. Dried out tiramasu. Treated my husband poorly. If we're going to spend that kind of money for 2 people, they should at least be nice. They probably don't care, but we're not bringing our group, friends, or family back any time soon for this kind of treatment.
We got the oven age 65 menu, and it was perfect. Plenty of food for us 2 ole people.

Cute restaurant on the courthouse square in Canton. We ordered for pick-up. We asked the hostess if there was plastic silverware as we were staying in a hotel. She gave us a bit of a frown but confirmed it was there. When we got back to the hotel and to our dismay, there was no plasticware, no napkins, and no salad dressing for the salads that we paid $4 each for. The salad were not a generous portion but neither one of us could eat the salads without dressing. We had to go to a convenience store to purchase plastic ware. The food was adequate. A very disappointing experience on Fri 3/1/24. I would not go back.

We were quickly addressed and seated when we arrived. The restaurant appears clean and cared for. Tables, chairs, flooring, and paint are all on good condition. We were immediately provided drinks. Our orders accurately taken, we received our food fresh and hot. Our glasses were kept full, but then our server disappeared. Other than the server disappearing at the end of our visit, we were able to acquire our check and go. Overall, the food was good and we had a positive experience.
