This place was recommended by a local, so we ate breakfast here one day and based on our experience decided to bring the whole family for brunch another day. Our first visit was just my husband and I and it was fantastic. I had an ala carte pancake and scrambled egg and my husband had Paw Paw Bill's biscuit and gravy with bottomless coffee. The wait staff was on point and the food came out pretty fast. We did have about a 15-minute wait for a table, but it was around...
Great place to dine at after a hill country drive. I highly recommend going down River Rd if going out that way from San Antonio and taking the same scenic drive back. The restaurant is less than a mile from the end of River Rd and the food is amazing. The establishment is a little small and can get quite busy and hectic but you have a choice to dine outside or inside. The specialty coffee bar and bakery offers an opportunity for an additional tasty treat.

We waited for over 40 minutes for our food. Other tables around us were sat after us, ordered well after us and receive food before us. It seems like all the other waiters were attending to their tables but for some reason our party of 4 was ignored. We had to flag down another waiter to receive service. :(
