Bar & Grill near Carrizo Springs

“Busy place! Nice big bar in the middle of the building. First thing you see when you walk in. Nice music playing. I had chicken strips with onion rings and a side salad. I really thought these rings were going to be super crunchy. I was let down. They tasted good but I wanted that crunch factor. Chicken strips were good and the sauce was tasty. They forgot my salad but it was okay cause I took it back to the hotel, along with my leftover strips and made a salad the next day. Colleagues got fried catfish plate. She said it was good. The other one for the salad and for an additional $2 added a 5 oz (I believe) steak. The add one were like crazy wow. Salmon, chicken, steak and ?? Forgot one for $2-$3. They had some nice adult drink specials that I wish I could have tried. . . $2 margaritas. . . yes. . . wish I could have Our server was super friendly and helpful. She was very attentive.“

“The plain exterior does not even closely indicate the level of service and quality of the food here. If you are looking for a swanky pretentious establishment this is not the place for you. If on the other hand, you are looking for good food simple atmosphere and stellar service this is the best place for you. After my first visit I have come back many times for the food and service it is the best in the area by far. Susan is a master of making everything flavorful and inviting. Better steak than any steak house in the area. Try it you will not be disappointed.Parking: Plenty of parking for all size vehicles never hard to find a place and well lit for safety.Dietary restrictions: I am diabetic and there was no problem at all asking for and getting items that were suitable for me and quite delicious.“
