Love this place! A very nice, local, mom and pop shack perfect for tourists looking for local Texas bbq without an expensive price tag! You pay for food, that's it. Their brisket is very flavorful and moist. Sausages as well. Sides are delicious. I love the sauce they give with it. Definitely would come back for more. We order the Hebron special to make a taste of everything and I share it with my husband. Only negative review I could give is their ribs are mildly dry. But the rest is great! Good bang for the buck, delicious, and local ?

First time going to 401k and so glad I tried. I got the brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs. Brisket was so tender and juicy. Pulled pork was tender and so flavorful. Ribs were a special item normally not on the menu, but I got lucky because he has some left over from another order. Robert is extremely generous and friendly. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing find! It is located in Hebron, Texas (Pop. 32) on the border of Carrollton. It is located next to Hebron Gardens. The smell will drive you crazy! The people who run the BBQ shack are very friendly and knowledgeable. They even make their own hot sauce (Gordy's) which is sold to area restaurants and rebranded to fit the need. The smoker is out front with the iconic Kip's Big Boy Sculpture which strikes memories of hamburger joints from the past. I ordered sliced brisket, hickory sausage, pork ribs, green beans, potato salad (divine) and a can of pickled carrots (yet to be tried). You receive a discount if you pay in cash. A sign posted says that they are the 2nd best in Texas. I asked about this and was told that since everyone states they are the best why not 2nd best? Too funny! Loved this place and the people there. Definitely, guarantees a great meal on the run or for the family, later.Dietary restrictions: The majority of foods offered here are gluten-free.

I ordered rib sandwich, which ended up being baby back ribs. They had absolutely no seasoning. The lady who took my order seemed irritated that I was even ordering. She did however help me save some $ by telling me to follow them on FB.Parking: Wasn't sure where to park so I just pulled into a gate to another business, where only 1 gate was opem.

Our company ordered Lunch for our Christmas Party!!! The food was great and Kathy and all who helped were wonderful to talk to on the phone. Casual Shack with limited seating and good food. 2 meat plate costs about the same as a 1 meat plate so I'd get that. Dont forget the drinks like I did theyre only 1 dollar. Pie was complementary thats always a nice touch. Make sure to follow on facebook for a 'discount' I got the brisket, it was very moist, perhaps too fatty but still delicious. Sauce was also tangy and good. Green beans and potato salad were slightly above average but I kind of wish I'd just gotten a sandwich and remembered a drink!

Will start off by saying you're most likely not going to beat the price for BBQ around this area unless you go to a fast food spot. As always I got the brisket and ribs, and decided to try the potato salad. They made it pretty easy with a simple menu! The ribs were different than what I'm use to. Definitely follow off the phone and great flavor. There wasn't a typical bark that you would see on the ribs, and almost reminded me of the thin layer texture I'd see on a fried pork dish. The brisket didn't have a large bark either, but maintained a good texture and required just a little bit of BBQ sauce. Definitely would recommend coming here if you have a BBQ craving, want some good cut of meats, and at affordable prices.

Robert gifted us with some goodies for being first time customers! I love a good chopped brisket sandwich and I may have found my new go-to place.
