Well second time eating here never again. One bartender she was coughing behind the bar Not covering up The other bartender she was putting her fingers inside the glass then fills the glass up And serves it to the customers Smoking behind the bar There is health codes against that What else are they doing? Don't eat here !!

We had never been here before even though it's about a 5 minute walk from us. They have a brussel sprouts app with some smokey meat that possibly changed my life. My partner and I have not stopped talking about it. Old fashions were also very tasty. They were quite busy, all of the people serving there were very nice. Also, apparently the bartenders work in their underwear, I won't say no to the view. The brussel sprouts, though, just...mind blowing.

I used to absolutely love Barrel and Bones Carrollton. Unfortunately over the past few months the service has gone down hill tremendously. The staff is extremely unfriendly, unmotivated, and just flat out lazy. I've dined here for dinner many times and have had to go to the bar or get the "managers" (managers who do not manage what so ever) attention to get any kind of service. The staff would rather hangout and party with each other instead of serving the guests of the restaurant (ridiculous). The food has not been up to par as it used to be. The other Barrel and Bones locations have been so much better. This is truly a shame as Downtown Carrollton has only a few restaurants. Do not waste your time or money at this restaurant anymore!!!

Food wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. It was expensive for what you get. Terrible service. Bartender would rather flirt with the cooks than do her job and serve patrons. It was sad. The place would have been pretty cool and worth going back to if it wasn't for the terrible, extremely slow service. Decor was pretty nice.

I had some brisket and jalapena cheese sausage. The food was warm and great taste. The beer was local beer and was pretty tasty. I would go back again any day. The wait staff were courteous and helpful with the menu. This easily be my future happy hour spot.

We just went here for our anniversary. We were told to take a seat and they didn't say another word. There was one other table so not busy. We walked after 20 minutes.

I really wanted to like the place, but neither the service nor the food was even decent. We had a group of three, they sat us down but didn't come take our order for over 20 minutes. There were only 7 other guests in the whole establishment yet no one would actually pay attention to us. The decorations are nice so at least we had something to look at while we waited for so long. Now the food was actually quite horrible. I got the 3 meats and one side combo. The brisket was SO dry, bland, and tough, I felt I was chewing a rubber tire. The pork pibil was incredibly salty, but had no flavor besides all that sodium. It was inedible. The pork belly burnt ends were ok. The twice baked potato salad was incredibly bland and was served room temperature. The most edible thing on that plate was the toast. Everyone's plates were as equally disappointing. We all got there hungry and left hungry despite spending so much money. I guess it was a sign that it was empty at noon.

This place checks all the boxes:The bbq is legit. They have beef ribs and fried okra....this is Texas, the beef rib is mandatory!Great whiskey selection. The drinks are reasonably priced. They have pool tables. The service was casual but attentive.Bonus points for being a mile from my house!

The BBQ was bomb. Brisket was tender, and the banh mi was great. Fries had a nice texture to them, and the Texas Twinkies were delicious.

Stopped by here with a friend after hanging out nearby and it was one of the few places in the area, with food after 9 pm. It seems to be a place for locals and those wanting to watch sports would probably like it on a game day. However this night the service was okay, we sat at the bar. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my friend got the Almost Cuban. He seemed to have liked his sandwich, or he was just hungry lol. As for me, I enjoyed my sandwich I forgot to take a pic of it, but it had a big piece of chicken on it so definitely didn't skimp there. Additionally the sauce was interesting it wasn't your typical hot chicken buffalo sauce type. It was a bbq sauce with just the right amount of spice on it. I'd definitely get it again if I came back.

Sat at the bar the younger female bartender with curly hair back in a bun wearing a crop top spent 90% of her time on the phone rolled her eyes at us anytime we asked for a drink. Little did she know that I'm a bar manager and it pains me to leave a bad review but we sat with empty drinks for over 20 minutes at a time and even when asking to close out she would walk off on her phone when she did finally bring the tab our card sat forever we had to ask 3 times for her to run our card. 20% is bare minimum tip for us and attempting to order higher end whiskey we always want to take good care of our bartender. The bar back took better care of us than her and the waitress on duty checked on us more than our bartender did.

Came here on Sunday and sat at the bar. We sat there with a blonde woman right in front of us who ignored us, no eye contact or greeting. She was doing inventory I think but would it kill her to say hello? Finally a male bartender greeted us and took care of our drinks. I really wanted to like this place but not sure we'll come back.
