The best sushi place in dallas! Food...man everything prepared perfect! Like everybody, strongly recommend premium temaki combo! Uni is the best and frestest in town! Definitely visit again here!

This place is AMAZING!!!!!! One of the best sushi places without the high prices! You have to try the Salmon Gravlax! If I have to choose one dish for the rest of my life, this will be the one! And the spicy edamame is one of the best in the DFW area! Try the sampler crudo, and you'll be set!

Their maki and Crudo Sampler were out of this world. I especially enjoyed hamachi ones. I thought this place would do really well in more posh area. Please don’t underestimate this place due to the location.

Outstanding. My husband and I have eaten a lot of sushi and hand rolls across the country, and we both agree that this place is a standout. The bright flavor combinations, the freshness of the fish, and the hospitality of the chefs made our lunch one to remember. My husband’s favorite was the lobster hand roll, while the blue fish and negi toro were my favorites.

Is this worth the 1 hour drive from west DFW? Resoundingly, yes. We’ll be back to try their omakase next sometime soon.

Once you are here, all other Japanese restaurants will feel like amateurs. The restaurant is tucked in a side alley with a small entryway, simple and clean set up, no over the top decoration. The menu has limited items, but wait until the food is brought to you. Extraordinary presentation with only the freshest ingredients, and the sauce complimented well with the ingredients. The price is not for everyday dining, but it is really worth splurging with your family or significant others. So delicious that I don't have enough words to describe ????

Best sushi I’ve gad in my entire life (and I’ve had a lot of sushi)! The sashimi is so fresh and flavorful! The sashimi chef knows what he’s doing and it’s perfection. We probably spent a couple hours here exploring the menu and the chef was kind enough to make us some off menu creations. We will be back!!! Thank you for an incredible food experience!!!

I was searching online for a sushi restaurant, something a bit more special for a birthday dinner, and found Blue Maki’s high ratings and interesting menu so decided to give it a try. Very glad we did, it definitely managed to hit all the notes I was looking for.

Started out with lychee martini and blue maki high ball, along with the karaagi which were all great. The karaagi’s batter was flavorful and cooked perfect, accompanied by a slightly sweet and spicy dipping sauce. Then we moved to the main course - combo handrolls and 2 different kinds of sashimi. The quality of the fish was outstanding, and the flavor combinations on the handrolls were unique and truly delicious.

Everything was great, and I will definitely come back the next time I’m craving sushi.

The sushi was amazing especially the rainforest roll, but the service was even more amazing. Everyone was so nice and welcoming especially front of house, loved it and will definitely be going back!

i'm totally in love with this place!
we got the 3 regular + 2 premium temaki rolls and they were so tasty. my fav is the waygu + uni one. the server is also very attentive and friendly. highly recommended!!!

**Shady Gratuity**

I went to this restaurant with a group of six, and while the food was good, the experience was ruined at the end. After we left, my sister reviewed her receipt and noticed that gratuity had already been included. This is unusual for a handroll bar, but the shady part is how the customer finds out about the pre-added tip.

During checkout, the first screen you see on their tablet is the tip screen, followed by the total. You only see the pre-added gratuity if you ask for a receipt. Moreover, there was no indication on the menu or from the staff that gratuity would be automatically included. It's hard to give this establishment the benefit of the doubt because they are likely getting double tips regularly. It's especially disappointing because my sister ended up giving more than the pre-added gratuity on her receipt.
