Best boba texture and quality I’ve had at any spot in the US to date. Their mango green tea with light ice / sugar is my go to and is super refreshing.

I’d recommend sticking to the fruit teas and not the milk teas as the milk easily overpowers their delicate tea flavor here. For milk teas, I typically go to places like TPTea, but come here for fruit tea to capture the most out of their flavor.

Updated interior and a lot more space to hangout than the location I’ve been to in the Bay Area.

Only knock is the price which is pretty steep for a drink (usually $7 something if I remember correctly). But perfect for a treat from time to time.

I’ve always loved the tea here and have been a customer since the shop opened, but today’s experience was very disappointing. The employee at the register showed poor customer service. I wasn’t aware that the default sugar level was 75%, and since it was my first time adjusting the sweetness, I asked for 75% thinking it meant less sweet. The employee just stared at me without saying anything and entered the order for both drinks. When I mentioned that one should be less sweet, she again didn’t respond or acknowledge me.

I still really like this place, but I hope the staff can be a bit more attentive and communicative with customers.

This is a chain from Taiwan and has a lot of accolades. They have locations in Austin Seattle and across the West Coast having been to multiple locations. The quality is upheld at the new Dallas one the Dallas one also has a tea tasting experience while you wait for your tea to come out so as long as there’s not a long line, it’s a very fun experience to try different types of their roasted teas.

Also, while ordering you get to try a sample of whatever the tea of the day is, which helps a lot for someone like me who doesn’t want to go far from what I know I like. In my opinion, the cassia black tea is better than their base black tea.

They hold true to their statement that the perfect sugar level is about 70% at every other place so please take that into account when ordering. The new location is a wonderful piece of property and is decorated beautifully. It really enhances the experience and makes me want to actually stay to drink my tea instead of just getting it to go.

I visited Chicha San Chen in Carrollton last weekend, and honestly, I think it’s more hype than it's worth. It feels like a luxury coffee shop with beautiful ambiance. the seating was nice and the tea tasting bar was an okay experience. If you’re here strictly for ambience or taking photos, it might be your place.
However, if you're looking for genuinely tasty, high-quality tea, I'd look elsewhere. The options felt quite limited, and the flavor didn't justify the price or the hype. There are definitely far better tea shops around. For serious tea drinkers, this one falls short on the actual beverage.

Their drinks are made from real tea, which brings very fresh taste. Recommend the taro ball as topping.

A very esthetically pleasing tea shop with a gorgeous interior design. Plenty of seating and seems like a great place to catch up with friends or to get some work done. We got the Osmanthus oolong tea with mango and we enjoyed the drink.

Not my cup of tea. No taste of tea at all. Service was great tho.

Tried the Ding Dong Oolong Tea with Cream and Pearls at Chi Cha San Chen and it was fantastic! The flavor was rich and smooth, and the chewy pearls added a delightful texture. Plus, the cute string handle made it easy to carry around. Highly recommend this drink if you’re in the area!

Tea tastes good. But the boba has gone. After few months their grand opening, tea and boba was so chewy and so fresh. But now, boba is a bit hard now and doesn't taste as fresh as it used to.
I hope they manage their boba's quality back because still love this place.

It’s a great place to hang out with friends.

Very clean and open interior with lots of seating. Ordering was simple and I received it quickly - the seasonal pineapple cream tart was very tasty! The twine handles on the cups are cute, especially if you're going to be wandering around shopping or something while sipping :)
