It having been many long years since going to Cindi's, I had a business lunch there, and really enjoyed the food. As a personal side note, I have trouble going to any deli and NOT ordering the pastrami sandwich. I really am confused by folks who order other stuff. Weird, I know. The pastrami is quite good, and the portion size is okay, but just right for lunch. The rye bread is so nice and soft. I wish I could just buy the bread and take it home! I also had potato salad along with the sandwich, which was also quite good. All in all, the are better delis but not many, I'll be back.

Food was good. Not sure if it like New York since I've never been.

A Ruben made with pastrami and a cup of chilli. You can't get better anywhere else in DFW.

I called and ask for delivery they said said they only deliver 1mile on the site it says they delivered within 2miles , I live 5mins down the street which is 1.5 miles then they tied to tell me I had to order from another Cindis, my order had to be about $50 worth.

Really great food, so good I had to go two days in a row and wouldn't mind a third.

Food was not as expected. Ordered omelettes and pancakes. Pancakes were not done and the omelette was horrible. Waitress was elsewhere and not attentive. Very disappointed ?

Cindi's is my top choice for where to go for breakfast during the week. I will probably make it a lunch choice too since it's conveniently located off Midway. The wide variety of menu choices for breakfast and lunch plus their pastry case make this a place one could easily done at every day and not have the same thing. On my last visit, we had the Egg Special. It's available during the week for less than $9 with so many side options. And since I couldn't resist their pastries, I got a big black and white cookie that was just as delicious as any East Coast deli.

I have just relocated to Carrollton, and my friend took me there, as NANELL knows that I enjoy good Deli, having been born in Boston, and living most of my life in Los Angeles. I truly enjoyed their Blintzes, so I then took my husband there, and we had wonderful matzo ball soup and corn beef sandwich. I went back two times more for their delicious Kreplach Soup in takeout. My only issue is that I wish that they were open for longer hours, so that we could go there after work for dinner!! People are very pleasant there, as well!

Conclusions: best NY style deli I have found in the DFW area so far. Pros: the food is fantastic. (Haven't tried matzo ball soup yet so will update after that is done) the lox and whitefish salad are among the best anywhere. The corned beef hash is the best anywhere. These corned beef and pastrami are both quite good. Cons: the coffee is among the worst I have ever tasted and I have been to diners and truck stops all over the country. This really needs to be changed. The place has a slightly dinghy feel to it - Not really dirty but.... Notes: the portion sizes are slightly smaller than what you'd get a a real NY deli but not significantly so. You will most likely be able to finish your food without taking some home.

Delicious Hot Pastrami sandwich with potato salad. Only gave them a 4 star because the Pastrami albeit tasty its wasn't very hot enough and salad was bland.

Amazing food and really wonderful staff. We go here a lot and are never disappointed. I'm from Chicago, a city famous for great meat and amazing bakeries. Only deli in DFW area that can stand up to home.

Deja vu all over again! Cindi's, in effort to drive away good customers during a pandemic, has once again decided to replace good thick turkey bacon with cardboard flavored faux whatever it is they are trying to pass off as turkey bacon. They did this once before and came to their senses, but now they are back with the nasty tasting imposter nonsense. Horrible business decision on the part of whoever makes these decisions. This is when profits get in the way of servicing customers.
