One of the most authentic Colombian restaurants you’ll ever experience outside of taking a trip to the Country.
My boyfriend is from Bucaramanga and this is the only place in the US that he says tastes just like being home. The family that runs this restaurant is magnificent, so welcoming and everything is reasonably priced with big portions.

I WENT THERE 3 TIMES TO GET THE CHEESE BREAD AT THE SPECIFIED TIME AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT NONE OF THE TIMES I WENT.
1pm on a Tuesday, and this place is hopping! Try the cheese bread and a Coke. No regrets. Lalo took the time to serve customers despite the rush. I'll be back!

Here in Dallas it is hard to find Colombian food done right, well here it is. It takes a minute to get your food but when you do it is fantastic.

Hours are not correct online and not consistent showed up 30 minutes before closing and food choices were limited the chiccharron was delicious though

El Portal is one of the best spots in Dallas for authentic Latin food and fresh-baked pastries. Everything is made with love — from the delicious empanadas to the amazing pan de bono and almohabanas. The service is always friendly, fast, and makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommended!
