The atmosphere here is so great! And the drinks were AMAZING!! I’ve tried many green tea shakes in attempt to find one as good as this and none come close! This place is a must when you’re in town!

I had ordered various types of rice cakes, such as Garaetteok and Sirutteok, several times. They were all delicious, but especially the Yeongyangtteok, with abundant ingredients, was so tasty that I plan to order it again next time. Highly recommend.

I went to buy rice balls, boba, and juice drink at Escape Boba inside H-mart. My friend curiously took some photos of a few rice cake items on display counter. The items have no labels and pricing. There was not a single "No Photographs" sign anywhere at this store. The store manager (maybe owner) saw, and yelled rudely asking her to delete the photos. My friend deleted the photos immediately. The manager insisted and then rudely grabbed her phone to inspect the photos on her phone. Was that a violation of my friend’s privacy? I guessed she didn’t want people to see their disgraceful looking products, and/or they were ashamed of their products. The drinks we bought were nothing special. The tasteless rice cake was like chewing gum with a little bit of unsweetened and unrefined red bean paste. We should have walked a few steps across the hallway to buy from a different shop instead. I want to share our terrible experience at this store.

My experience at this place was very unpleasant. I got the 3 for $12 deal for the rice cakes and unfortunately, one of them was spoiled. We took it back in hopes to switch it out and to let the owners know in a friendly manner. They doubted us, then proceeded to taste it themselves and spit it out in front of us. Just leaving a review so no one else would get a stomachache!

Escape Rice Cake and Boba is located within Super H Mart, near the front entrance. You can see a long curved shelve stacked with ricecakes of all sizes and shapes. My wife loves Korean rice cakes and made a beeline towards their stuff. She grabbed a variety of rice cakes and paid a the counter. Since they are separate from Super H Mart, you need to pay upfront before you walk away from the area.Once home, my wife made some Tteokbokki for dinner. We all exclaimed how good the rice cake texture is. We have had a lot of rice cakes over the years and can say Escape Rice Cake and Boba makes some very good ones. Definitely come here to pick up rice cakes if you need them.Parking: Hard to find parking as this place is inside Super H Mart and it's always packed

I ate mugwort rice cake, but it smells good, and the color of the rice cake at Escafe is so pretty that it feels good even before eating.

When I asked the person who seemed to be the owner to go to Chuseok and ask for songpyeon, she said all the ones in front were songpyeon, so I bought two in large sizes.I don't know if this woman doesn't know songpyeon, or if she sold honey rice cakes fraudulently using songpyeon.

Among the rice cakes I bought, I couldn't eat it because I couldn't eat it because the rice cakes were on break.

The other rice cakes are okay, but the tteokbokki rice cake smells sour. The lady wasn't friendly.

My mom bought 3 different rice cakes from here and we tried one and it was rotten. It tasted spoiled. The other two were fine. She called the store to let them know that one of the purchases was spoiled and the lady was nice and said that they will give us credit, so the next time we come in they will provide us a free rice cake to make up for the rotten one. Maybe 5 minutes later the lady calls back and states that she tried the other rice cakes at work and that it was fine, asked us to come back to the store to see the problem. We live 40 mins away, we weren’t going to drive back and forth… and the lady kept on insisting that the rice cakes were fine. If she said from the beginning that she can’t refund or do anything about it then we wouldn’t be too upset, it is what it is. But she offered a free rice cake and then calls back to take that offer back. She shouldn’t have offered that in the first place then. Horrible service. They claim that the rice cakes are fresh but there are many instances where the rice cakes are stale!

I purchased some rice cakes from this store, and they were smelly and hard as rock instead of chewy. Probably, they sell stuff that's been left over or don't keep them clean or something. So disappointed.

i always come here for their bubble tea! my favorite drink on their menu is the “java chip” smoothie. if you enjoy blended coffee drinks, then this is for you. they also offer a similar flavor, so if you prefer no caffeine, order the “cookies n’ cream” smoothie instead.the boba texture here isn’t all that great (probably overcooked), but for a cheap price, it’s no big deal. i’ve never tried their pastries, but they look tasty.they are located inside h-mart, right when you enter, they’re on the right side near the produce area.

A treasure trove of mochi - definitely caters to my weakness for fresh mochi. It has the sticky rice cakes in almost all shapes/forms/flavors. I was hoping they might have warabi mochi which is borderline jelly and often seen at Japanese stores but they didn't :( they have Kinako, Black Sesame, Mugwort, and Mung Bean (to name a few) and I was interested in trying the last one as it's the only flavor I hadn't yet tried. The mochi isn't sweet at all, low key savory from the Mung Bean powder. Def would have tasted better sweeter but good quality mochi. $5 for a pack and pretty reasonable cuz I think mochi takes a bit of labor to be kneaded and pounded. Sweet Asian lady who rang us up also provided good service.
