Always delicious. You can tell everything is made to order. The mozzarella sticks are 100% made in house which is a rare find.

Their Philly cheese is lacking on meat, bell peppers, and onions. If you have an appetite, order with extra meat. Otherwise, you won't get mushrooms meat.

Great cheese steaks, but if you want a true Philly, ask for Cheese Whiz.

My husband and I had the 24 and 25 with Philly egg rolls and mozzarella sticks. Sandwich’s 10/10, mozzarella sticks 10/10(cheesy inside with great cheese pull), egg rolls 10/10 not dry at all not too juicy and not messy at all.

The restaurant staff were great aswell, checked in with us mid way to make sure everything was going great and offered some great recommendations when taking our order. Great atmosphere aswell.

I recommend and will make this a regular place in our restaurant rotation.

Please check out this location. I just got a couple of cheesesteaks and these guys are coolest, nicest people. I left in a better mood than when I walked in, and their sandwiches are THE best cheesesteaks in town. Love it.

So I hate having to share this review but I normally have the greatest experience at Fred’s, I’ve been coming for years. I live in N. Ft. Worth and don’t mind the drive but today’s visit was a tad bit disappointing. The guy taking my order couldn’t stay off the phone. As soon as I walked in, he told his FaceTime call to hang on, presentation of my food was sloppy mother’s sweet potato fries have changed since my last visit. There is some type of work going on in the back, so I had to sit and eat my food at the tables in the front. The guy who took my order was cleaning the vents (as I ate) and also had the front restroom door open the entire time. I wanted to sit and eat my food but was disturbed because, who eats with the rr door open? Still on his call, he shows whom ever he’s on the phone both the cleaning project he’s been dealing with all day. As I’m finishing eating, there’s a white bucket that the guy kicks to get to the space he wants it in, because forbid he has to put one of the two cellphones away he has in his hands down to accomplish this task. The lady working with him says, hold on I need to fill the onion bucket up. Not sure if the bucket she’s referring to is the bucket he just kicked. But ye, the visit was unpleasant and I’m so disappointed and I hope I don’t have to stop my small amount of service to Fred’s after today’s visit.

I’m mad, upset and disappointed. Because I only got one cheesesteak and shrimp poboy. My present self is mad that my past self didn’t get two of them. But my future self is excited that I now know to order more than one. This was THE BEST Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had in my life. I unwrapped it and there was a piece of meat on the inside of the wrapper. I ate it and had to step back after closing it up because I was not prepared. After a few minutes of deliberation and meditation, I was ready to dive in. Little did I know what I was getting myself into. The meat, the cheese, the bun. All of it, it’s like I was in a fight with flavor and the flavor won by knockout. I feel like a new person. Ready to fight Goliath, or climb to the highest part of Mount Kilimanjaro. I can feel the flavor in my soul. I saved a bit of it so I can reminisce in a few minutes of the amazing journey the flavor took me on. The two gentleman working behind the scenes deserve every award imaginable. Their service and politeness was unmatched. If I got hit by a bus with a Fred’s Philly in my hand, I’d ask you if my Philly made it, forget my legs. I’m sure they’d grow back anyways because that flavor gave me powers. I’m mad I hadn’t gone sooner but grateful that places like this exist. Now I have to add a cheesesteak column to my budget. This was all around a great experience. Keep doing what yall do, I can’t gate keep this place, it’s just too darn good.
