I came into the shop tonight for a chocolate cake, frozen strawberries with cream, and a skewer of fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate. I was really excited to try the chocolate-covered strawberries because they looked HUGE and delish. Unfortunately, when I bit into them, the strawberries tasted bitter, were fizzy and even made my tongue tingle — definitely spoiled and not fresh as advertised.
I had already gotten home before noticing, otherwise I would have returned them for a refund. I hope this was just a one-off issue, but I wanted to share my experience so quality can be checked more closely moving forward. I wouldn't mind being contacted for a refund or a replacement if possible. It was disappointing for it being my first impression of the shop.
