Good food. Popular area, so parking is a little rough. I'd recommend going Mon-Thurs. Went with a friend, and it was a great sit in restaraunt. Staff was nice.

I don't recommend it, the place is very greasy and all the clothes smell like smoke. The food is not that good.

Absolutely the best Korean BBQ I've had. The premium meats are worth it and the sides are delicious! You won't be disappointed.

Great place for k-bbq and hot pot ramen! I took my family out and they had an amazing time. This was their first time eating k-bbq. No food wasted!!
Kid-friendliness: They offered booster seats for my two boys! We had plenty room to dine!

Service was horrible! They acted like they didn't want to sit or serve us. The waitress was extremely slow with everything & didn't smile once. Never going back ever.

Great place. Service took longer than it should have. Got there before it was super busy. But the meat was taking longer than usual to get to the table. They do have a new premium menu that I would like to try next time I visit.

This place was great for an AYCE KBBQ. They had a pretty huge menu for the base menu which was 30$. You can add 20 more to get a premium menu that includes a full ribeye and waygu as well as other menu items. We tried like 8 different things and everything was fantastic. The short ribs were really good. I was kinda disappointed they didn't have all the blugogi and spicy blugogi on the menu. The spicy pork was one of our favorites. The banchan menu was lacking imo, they only had a few items. We had the kimchi and kimchi cucumbers which were good though. This service was pretty good, the waiter was friendly and helped with suggestions. However he did forget some things sometimes and we had to remind him. Overall i look forward to coming back here on my next business trip. Thanks guys.

I had an exceptional visit to Gen Korean BBQ House. The everything was delicious and the experience of cooking the food ourselves is always a fun adventure. The atmosphere was lively and the food was delicious, despite my best efforts to overcook everything.
Our server was attentive and brought everything we ordered, including plenty of the sides and sauces we requested. I was ecstatic about the “all-you-can-eat” option, which changed the mood of our table from “How much is that?” to “Oooh, let’s get THAT! And THAT! And THOSE!!!”
I wondered if our grill would taint our later dishes with the grizzle from the earlier ones, but the grills are changed out regularly and often, so there’s no lingering aftertaste.
Everything is well-marinated and well-prepared. Really, everything from the service to the food was perfect. And there was something that led to an even better experience than usual: Lucy.
An employee’s warm demeanor and smiling face greeted us upon entering. She helped us get settled into a comfortable spot. She checked on us a few times, and I felt like she genuinely cared that we were enjoying our visit. I was impressed that she was checking on us long into our visit. I guessed that her role was that of a hostess. Is this person the best hostess ever?
To my surprise, I learned this person isn’t a hostess, but rather, a manager. Her name is Lucy, and I was immediately and thoroughly impressed with her interest in ensuring our visit was excellent. Her warm grace and engaging manner is rare enough in service staff, but from a manager?! I was even more surprised by her. I guess I’m used to managers not being seen, only coming out to handle a problem or customer issue.
On one of Lucy’s visits to our table, she could sense my unease, and by that point, I felt comfortable enough to ask her for guidance in cooking the prawns. She shared some good advice but could tell that I wasn’t feeling confident enough to handle the prawns, so she offered her assistance, and I accepted. Lucy began preparing our prawns for us!!! ? The restaurant was moderately busy for a weeknight, but things seemed to be running smoothly, so Lucy was afforded a few minutes to help us get started with our shrimp. Her conversation was delightful, and she prepared our food with attention, interest and experience. Once the prawns hit a spot of “just a little while longer, they’ll be ready to eat” Lucy told us what to watch for and hoped the prawns would be delicious, which they absolutely were!
Lucy was efficient with every move, both around our grill and as we saw her move around the restaurant, tending to other customers and sharing her good vibes.
I really appreciated her “hands on” approach when it came to helping us feel welcome, cared for, and in our case, well-fed. I was especially impressed that a manager would take the time to make us feel so very special.
Thank you, Gen Korean BBQ House. And thank you, Lucy!!!

Really enjoyed Gen KBBQ! The meats were fresh and tasty. Some of my favorites were the LA galbi and garlic samgyupsal. Our server was on top of things, changing the grill plate often, checking in on us frequently, and getting our food quickly. Fast service overall. Would definitely recommend as one of the top Korean BBQ spots I've been to.
