We asked our server Esther for recommendations and she recommended the boiled pork belly, seafood pancake, pork backbone hot pot, and mungbean with brisket. Everything tasted so good! We loved the food and the service. Definitely chose a great spot especially for a birthday dinner.

Checked out this new restaurant on Monday night and I have to say it's a new favorite to add to the rotation. Mira our server was very attentive and gave helpful recommendations. She was the only one working so she got really busy near the end when more customers came. Unfortunately they were sold out of the bossam, jokbal, and kimchi squid pancake so will have to try that next time. The banchan is all so delicious and unlimited of course. We ordered the seafood and green onion pancake, gamjatang, stir fried brisket point and mung bean sprouts, and spicy stir fried squid. The seafood and green onion pancake was my least favorite. It was too thick and pasty on the inside without much flavor. The gamjatang was nice and hearty - the meat was fall off the bone tender. It does have a strong perilla taste fyi. The stir fried brisket point and mung bean sprouts was just ok - I wouldn't order again. It was too much bean sprouts and very peppery. The spicy stir fried squid was very good! One of the best I've had in the area. Disclaimer: at the end of the meal, Mira asked us to write a google review right then and make sure to mention her. At first we were happy to do so but she started to become very pushy about it and checked if we had done it every 5 minutes. She even went to check on google if we had written it and called out those of us who hadn't done it yet.

We found this place on Instagram and apparently a lot of people have because it was packed! A lot of the menu was already sold out, but what we did get (galbi and spicy pork) was really good. They definitely need more help, but she was doing the best she could. Would recommend going early, there was quite a long line when we left.

Arrival at restaurantI waited for 30-40 minutes.I waited 50 minutes and heard nothing, so I asked when it would be.He told me to wait 5 minutes.I went in 10 minutes later, but they said they forgot and gave me another seat.I waited and sat somewhere else.They didn't bring me anything from the water menu. I kept waiting and eventually they said it, but it took a long time even when I said it.After waiting for a while, the side dishes came out. He said he would wait and ask for the spoon without paying attention.The other tables were the same, so I just left without saying a word rather than looking at four tables. The only thing I saw was four tables lol. But the important thing is that the staff didn't even know they were leaving lol. The restaurant isn't that big. Could it be that you don't know? And the customers didn't even know what they ordered, so they kept coming back and asking again and again. They told us that they had been waiting for a while while telling us what we ordered for the bean sprout chadol. That means they don't pay attention to the table. They must not know how to work haha. We had to wait for about two hours for the food to come out. It took too long. The side dishes are okay. You should pay more attention to the customers. My husband and I had to wait 45+ minutes to get food served which was weird when people around us were served much faster. We are non Asians and felt maybe that’s the reason to be left out. The servers apologized but we felt like they wanted us to leave by making us wait.The food was delicious but unfortunately due to the service, we won’t be visiting again.
