Usually Gong Cha is one of our favorites. We’ve been coming here for over 5 years and it’s always amazing. Tonight wasn’t as great, the guys working the counter had airpods in the whole time they were taking our order. Kept asking us to repeat ourselves and then still messed up our order. They kept rolling their eyes and acted annoyed that we were there. Unfortunate experience.

Gong Cha Carrollton is basically my happy place in a cup. I walked in tired, walked out feeling like I had leveled up in life. The brown sugar milk tea? A hug from the universe. The boba pearls? Little chewy mood boosters that somehow make any bad day better. The staff whip up drinks faster than I can even pronounce ‘oolong’ and they always do it with a smile.
Pro tip: don’t tell yourself you’ll ‘just get one drink’—you’ll end up leaving with at least two. This place is dangerously delicious.

drinks are good but the service is terrible. the workers never look like they want to be there. the staff here arw rude and super passive aggressive. every time my boyfriend and i go (which is a lot) we don’t even get a hello at the register. we always greet the cashier but never get a hello in return, very disrespectful!!

Always has good boba tea! A little too much on the sweet side so I have to adjust sweetness level more than other places but still really good. Only down side is it's a pretty small place so it's not a place I'd like to chill at.
Reliably good boba tea. WiFi available. I ordered the ai yu lemon drink to try something new. It was well made, but very lemony and not milky/creamy. If you love lemon and want a fresh, clean-tasting refresher, it’s a good option. Otherwise, I’d try a milk tea or something else. The lemon drink reminded me a bit of Korean yuzu (yuja) tea because of the predominant citrus flavor and chunks of fruit/peel.
