I've never eaten Venezuelan food. What an awesome experience. Absolutely delicious and the staff has been wonderful. They've helped explain a different types of food and help us order. Thank you so much for such a great experience. I definitely recommend this place

Walked in here to try for the first time and staff is too busy playing tag behind the counter, manager is texting while at a table. No one acknowledged me so I left. 1 customer sitting inside. So disappointed but I wont visit a place that doesnt have good customer service from the moment I walk in.

Hablas español? If you're coming to Hola Cafe, you better try, haha! Our server greeted us in Spanish, and later switched between a bit of English and wordless interactions... but it was kind of nice to practice my tableside Spanish! Plus, my husband and I were here for the food - not for conversation with our server! It was a bit quiet when we arrived, but I think we showed up a bit before opening (sorry!). A few tables filled up after us.

This is some really great authentic grub at a really reasonable price. We ordered just 1 empanada, but that was a mistake - we should've ordered at least 3. I also ordered a passionfruit drink, and our server literally went back to blend up the fruit right then: fresh and SPECTACULAR. Arepas were also phenomenal.

No doubt - we'll be back!

The waiter was so patienttttt to explain each item including the ingredients even though he struggled, the he pulled out his phone with more pictures of the food. 10/10 for that dedication. Food is great, most are fried, a lil heavy for breakfast but not too bad for a quick snack stop.

This place for me has the betters Venezuelan food in Dallas, but the last time that i went to enjoy the food i had to eat outside cause the music were so loud, this was like a Disco and you just cant ear the other person talking, so I requested to get down the volume of the music and the cashier juts ignore me, if the owner of this restaurant read this message try to talk with your employees about it .

What a poor customer service experience… don’t you ever try to do a pick up order over the phone. The alleged owner was the worse person not even trying to take my order, was like he didn’t even want to be there. Not recommended

Horrible service , we waiting over an hour for our food, came in at 8:05 and still wasnt served a plate until after 9:20 , many people came in after we arrived and left before we even got our dishes

Excellent service, I came today because one friend told me about cachapas. He was right, PERFECT. I will come back.

The restaurant charges a 3.5% credit card fee. I believe This charge should be embedded in the high cost of the food. I am not coming back to this restaurant. Also, the past few times I have been there is always empty. I guess other people find better places and more affordable

Bad experience, health hazard

I visited this restaurant expecting a good seafood meal, but what I received was unacceptable. I ordered the seafood soup and immediately noticed something was wrong. The crab was in poor condition, clearly rotten, and it was evident that they tried to cover up the bad smell and taste with an excessive amount of spiciness. Not only is this misleading, but it is a serious health risk.

Offering spoiled seafood can cause food poisoning and serious health problems. This type of negligence is inexcusable and could have legal consequences. This restaurant should be inspected immediately by health authorities before anyone is seriously affected.

I don't recommend this place to anyone
