I rarely write reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one.
The jokbal here is incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — easily the best I’ve had in the area. The meat was super soft with just the right amount of fat, and it tasted fresh, not overly salty like many other places.
The side dishes were great, the portion size was huge for the price, and everything came out fast and hot. The staff were also very friendly and checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re craving authentic Korean jokbal or just want a solid meal with amazing flavor, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

We ordered the Bossam ($43) and Soondae Jungsik ($23). The bossam was pretty decent and was a large portion size. The soondae jungsik soup was really good and the blood sausage tasted amazing too. We were able to split this between three people, so the price is pretty solid for good Korean food. The service was average, but the food was great. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want some cheaper Korean food in Carrollton.

The portions are huge! The side dishes and sauce went SO well with the entrees. Everything was fresh and tasty. I was so exhausted when I entered the restaurant but at the end of the meal I felt recharged and refreshed.

10/10!!! Any time I'm in Dallas I HAVE to get gamjatang from here. Gigantic portion and so very delicious. It was still piping hot even though I had it delivered to my hotel. Tastes like I'm back in Seoul. I wish I could get it shipped to Louisiana. It would be well worth whatever price!

We unfortunately, did not have a good experience. The timeliness of the food was good, but it seemed like everything was lacking salt. They could’ve used another server as they only made it back to our table one time at the end of our meal to see if we needed anything. We had a fruit fly in one dish and needed napkins as well. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant since there are so many other options in the area with great tasting food.

Spicy jokbal with medium was a bit salty. Other than that, it is overall good.

If you like Korean hot food, this'll be good please to give it a try...
The food is very fresh
Gamjatang was delicious, and the portion was really big. The price is reasonable.
Good for hangover soup!!!!! My one of favorite hangover spots!!!!!
A server should try to not always be arguing with customers about who is right or wrong, especially when we were simply providing feedback that one bowl of soup was missing. We were only expecting a polite apology, not questioning the staff or demanding compensation. There was no need to keep insisting that no mistake was made. Honestly, we didn’t mind that much—the food was quite good. I just think the owner might want to pay a little more attention to the attitude of the staff.
