Yesterday, we purchased Kerala non veg meals, Pothichoru and Karimeen Pollichathu—and the taste was absolutely delightful. The flavors were so exceptional and fresh that we were thoroughly impressed. The pothichor was an absolute delight, perfectly packed with flavorful rice, fish fry, and a variety of curries, all wrapped in a banana leaf that enhanced the aroma. The mutton fry was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with spices that truly reflect the essence of Kerala cuisine.
Another standout was the fish pollichath, cooked in a banana leaf with rich spices, delivering the most authentic taste I’ve experienced outside Kerala. The perfectly marinated and fried fish, along with these traditional preparations, made for an unforgettable meal.

I’m writing this review as I prepare to drive 25 minutes each way for the best Indian food and service in the DFW area. If you love hole in the wall eats it’s nearly impossible to beat Masala Courtyard. The dishes are served fresh, with staff that will tell you about the process of making your food and share samples with you the entire time. Everyone there has a smile, and once you taste their butter chicken you’ll understand why. It’s worth the drive. Highly recommend.
Kid-friendliness: If you’re wanting to get your kid into adventurous eating the flavors will open their eyes to new possibilities. Phenomenal.
Attached to the gas station - small place, but amazing food and service. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Chai is amazing, freshly made - Onion bajji was great too. Definitely recommend for people that like Kerala food!

Just moved here from Philly and I heard through a friend of mine about Masala Courtyard so I decided to give it a try and I must say that this place is amazing. I ordered the Kerala with the fish curry and chicken curry and I must say based off how the food looks and how well it’s garnished, I can tell that whoever is behind cooking this meal has definitely put their heart and soul into this meal. The best part is that the food tastes AMAZING !!! I will recommend this place to all my friends
