A HIDDEN GEM. Don't walk, RUN to this place. Since life happens, I don't get to enjoy homemade south indian food anymore. This place fills my heart because the food is exactly how your Amma would make it (probably better). It's family owned and they're so kind.
Seriously places like this is where you always get the best food. If you're looking for authentic Kerala food, this is it.
Writing this I'm thinking of the yummy pirottas and beef curry. Love it!!!

Came here with my mother in law. We enjoyed the food and the service was great. If you’re craving some authentic kerala food, check out this place. And I am a fellow Keralite recommending this ☺️

We visited New Kerala and ordered chicken curry with porota for my son—the chicken curry was incredibly flavorful. We also tried the fish meals, chicken meals, and beef meals, along with refreshing lime soda. Every dish was delicious and tasted just like a comforting home-cooked meal. This is definitely a must-try restaurant!

0/5 - Extremely Disappointed

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with New Kerala Kitchen because of how disappointing it was. I initially ordered from here because of the 4.4 review but don't know how they got it. First and foremost, they are misleading customers by charging the price of pothichoru for what is essentially just a regular, poorly prepared meal. It’s upsetting to see them use the name “Kerala” when they clearly don’t understand or respect the traditional dishes they’re claiming to serve so-called pothichoru was nowhere close to the real thing. If you don’t offer the actual dish, it should not be on the menu. The food was bland, tasteless, and extremely low in quantity. Each curry was barely 50 ml, and the rice came in a tiny 500 ml container — completely insufficient for a full meal. The chicken curry was a joke — just extreme oil with no flavor, no taste, and absolutely no effort. I couldn’t even tell what kind of gravy it was supposed to be. It seems like they make base gravy for every meat on the menu.

It’s not about the price — it’s about the complete lack of quality, authenticity, and presentation. I truly regret visiting this place and strongly urge others to avoid it at all costs. If you love real Kerala food, this place will not only disappoint you but possibly make you hesitant to try it again elsewhere.

I suggest to take Kerala out of your business name.

Stay away from. Old food heated up and served in heavy sauce . Threw all of it . Never returning .
