I ordered the beef noodles. SOO good, I ordered it to go and it came piping hot with a side of kimchi. The noodles are creamy and silky texture! Love that! The broth is good quality but those noodles steal the show. Their kimchi is also really good. One of the best restaurant kimchi’s.

We ordered take out. I was disappointed by the lack of flavor. The noodles taste like flour instead of soaking up.the flavors from the broth. The broth appeared to have some soybean paste in it but the flavor was overpowered by anchiovy. It was terrible. I trashed the food. My husband ordered naengmyeon and received ramen-type noodles, a weird broth and tons of red paste. No pear, no spicy mustard or vinnegar...just the wrong noodles and a weird broth. It was a disappointment- will not order from there. Idk how so many people are rating it highly. Total was $47 for 2 bowls of terrible soup.

Why is the food so cheap relative to it’s quality? I wish this place was closer to where I livedEdit: When I first went here, this place was amazing. It lost its charm when they got rid of the waitress and replaced her with a kiosk that asks for tips. You shouldn’t ask for tips if I have to bus my own tray and clean up after eating. If I need anything, I have to go to the pick up area and ask the kitchen staff through the window. Please bring back the waitress

Clean, great service and most importantly delicious food! We got combo of bulgogi and stir fried noodles and both were amazing! They even brought out a free kids meal for our toddler and I was very impressed by that. Definitely coming back!

This hole-in-the-wall dive is nestled behind some other buildings and a clinic, totally giving off "don't expect much" vibes. But the food here is superb. The food is ordered through a self-serve kiosk a la McDonald's and the drinks are in a mini fridge next to the door. It feels more like a lobby than a restaurant. But when the food comes out, it is no different than the original Kooksoo restaurant in Plano (which I went to for the first time after coming here). The meat is sliced thin and the noodles are perfectly thick and chewy. My partner says that the spice level is perfect for her, which means it can get pretty spicy.Don't sleep on this place. It's worth a visit and their price; which, honestly for Korean food nowadays, is not that bad.

Wow, this place is truly delicious and a must try! The Beef Kooksoo was a very large portion (plenty for two hungry people) the broth was perfect spice level and packed with flavor! Oh and don't even get me started on the noodles-- they were perfect! I can't wait to come back and try more!

We got the beef Kooksoo combo with bulgogi. The food was good and the portion size was great for two people. The lack of service was really what took a star away. Kind of odd that the kiosk would even ask for a tip. There was pretty much no interaction with anyone that worked there. Not a big fan of how this location is run compared to the other Kooksoo in Plano. We placed the order at the kiosk, then when our number was called we went and got the food from the counter. At the end of the meal, we basically cleaned up after ourselves and put the dishes and trash away.

This place has been on my list to try for a while and I'm so glad I finally stopped by! I ordered the King Ribs Jjamppong since so many reviews recommended it. The meat was tender and melted right off the bone, and the soup was very flavorful with the perfect kick of spice. There was plentiful seafood and veggies in the soup as well. The noodles were my favorite part of the dish, very chewy and fresh tasting. Next time I eat here I will keep it simple and order the beef kooksoo since it's a little bit cheaper and the noodles were the highlight for me. This restaurant is self service, so the only real interaction you have with employees is when they call your number to let you know the food is ready, unless you were to ring the bell for additional help. Ordering is done through a kiosk, and the utensils and water are all together at the front. The interior was very clean, and had a very modern feel. I'm excited to return here and introduce my friends to Kooksoo!
