La Villita Mexican Cuisine

I gave this place a shot but it’s not too my liking. A for effort but the food definitely lacks the authentic Mexican spice and ingredients found elsewhere. Great if you’re not used to home cooked meals but not my first choice for good Mexican food.

I really wanted to give this place a chance because they are close to work but it's so disappointing. They aren't skilled in Mexican cuisine but you can tell if they took some time with a Mexican chef it could be great. A tad overpriced, I got a quesadilla and chips and salsa for $15. The quesadilla was GREASY and too full of random stuff, I got al pastor meat in it and I didn't really taste anything other than the lettuce (it was filled with pico, cheese, meat and lettuce) all the cold stuff should be on the side. The meat wasn't flavorful at all. The salsa is roasted which isn't my favorite but oh well, it wasn't the worst. I actually like the chips. Really upset I chose this place but I was hungry and needed some quick lunch.

Getting in the place, you fill cold. Getting in the place, you smell no food.
They don't sell coffee. The price is like any other place. The size is smaller than any other place. It's not the regular Mexican kitchen. They have no Mexican guy cooking . I don't think the chilaquiles green sauce was made with green tomatillos" just with chile. I was so hot.

0 stars no worthy wasted of money look for a real mexican restaurant i couldn't eat tasted nasty smell nasty The only good thing are the drinks cause they don't make them GO IF YOU WANT TO SPEND YOUR MONEY

Reasonable prices and great food! The spicy salsa is some of the hottest salsa I've ever had.
