Stopped for dinner, Old House BBQ off Custer, I can’t say enough good things about this place. The brisket was perfectly smoked, and the sides, hit the spot!! It’s a cozy, no-frills restaurant with super friendly staff who make you feel right at home. I love how easy it is to swing by the drive-thru when in a rush. And the free soft-serve ice cream available if you decide to walk-in, Just the cherry on top!

Stepping inside is like a hug from your Memaw and Pawpaw. Where you can smell the delicious food as you park and know it's going to be better than you expected. My family and I have been going here since they first opened. And every visit, just gets better. I called for catering and they really took care of me. Still waiting for the pickup tomorrow. But knowing that their food is seriously Texas-worthy to be called BBQ, I know it's going to be amazing. The price is fair for the portions and expertise. With a varied selection of sides, you're sure to find something that fits everyone's palette. Even vegetarians will fit options beyond a lettuce salad here! If you need to have your event catered, please give Old House BBQ a try. I know you won't be disappointed.

Been wanting to try this place forever and finally did!!! It was one of my late grandmothers favorites and I can definitely see why. The service was great, all the employees were very kind. My nephew and my boyfriend and I, all 3 got totally different meals. My nephew had a sandwich, my bf had a brisket quesadilla and I had a bbq baked potato. All 3 of us loved our meals!! My baked potato was HUGE and they filled it to the brim with brisket and all the other fixings. They definitely did not skimp. I also liked that they have sooo many meat options. Even for the quesadilla and potato, you can get ham, turkey, brisket, chicken, etc! That’s awesome. So many yummy looking sides. Definitely recommend the mac salad. I also loved the lowkey Texas vibes in the restaurant. They also had free ice cream! You Can’t go wrong with that 😂 I will definitely be back very soon. There’s so many options i can’t wait to try them all!!

Potato was soft not enough meat or bbq sauce given , banana pudding was disgusting it was definitely sugar free boxed banana pudding with off brand cookies $4 for a 4oz cup of trash & online it says it comes with a drink but does not so that’s false advertising , called up there bc I was expecting a drink with my potato the lady didn’t care to even satisfy a customer not even a apology for their false advertising I will never pay $21 for such nonsense
Got a baked potato with chopped brisket,well the green onions were more than the chopped brisket,was literally no brisket,Dude you are not stealing that meat we pay for it $22 for a baked potato with no brisket and 2 small sides,Really!!

The rolls were ok but the rest of the food just didn’t seem appetizing. The Mac and cheese smelt funny, the brisket was not seasoned but the rolls and the beans were really good.

The inside was nice. I should've known it wasn't gonna be right when we pulled in. Smh. The inside smelled good enough. The guys behind the counter were about as helpful as they could be. We both got the 2 meat combo. I'm not sure how 2 ribs is considered one meat but ok. I was told I couldn't have a double portion of brisket. Ummmmm.....ok. so I got a side of brisket and.....2 ribs, mac and cheese and corn. The ribs were pretty decent. Everything else was just there. Now I understand why there weren't any cars in the lot. Yall....it's ok to season your meat. I suggest playing around with rubs and please take the chicken off the menu!!!!! The mac and cheese needed love. My suggestion......taste your own food.
