Every time I visit Dallas, I have to eat here. I'm so surprised that the rating isn't higher. They offer AYCE and a la carte. Get the a la carte! The cuts of meat are fantastic and the best part is after all your meat is grilled, they make kimchi fried rice! Service is so fast and efficient. They are good about refilling the banchan. When you order the meat a la carte, you also get the soybean (dang jang jigae) soup, and steamed egg. I'm not sure if you get all the bonus stuff with AYCE.

I've ordered takeout from this place three times in the past two weeks. It's consistently delicious and always packaged with care. The servers are incredibly efficient, ensuring you get your food promptly, even when the restaurant is busy. Thank you Omi team.

We have been to Omi a few times and love stoping here when we are in town. Its nestled in a great area of town with lots of culture and delicious food. We always get the Korean BBQ and love seeing what sides they come out with. The Kimchi is always a hit and then we love the bulgogi and just all the beefs! You must get some Soju while you are enjoying your food as well! Service is always so fast and they change out the BBQ grates pretty regularly so you dont feel like you are burning everything! ITs really good for Dallas, just wish they did hot pot as well!

I recently dined at Omi Korean BBQ in Carrollton and had a mixed experience. While the lady at the front hosting was kind, my interaction with a mid-50s Korean lady with short black hair left me feeling uncomfortable. Her attitude made the atmosphere less welcoming. However, I must admit that the food was fantastic. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, and the side dishes complemented the meal well. Despite the great food, the negative interaction with the staff member overshadowed my enjoyment. It's disappointing that such behavior tainted an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. Overall, while the food was great, the service left much to be desired.

We eat here often and the service and food is always great plus the atmosphere is chill and sleek. We enjoy the flexibility to choose between BBQ style or just order dishes. We opted for the Kalbi ribs, bulgogi and rice plus the never ending sides!

This has been our go-to place for many years! However, sadly it's going down in service, quality and atmosphere. We were there with a large party (12 people) last Saturday April 6th.1) The food was overall good (not sure why we had to ask for Salad leaves, when ordering Galbi-gui 갈비구이? They always are/were included. Strange)2) The Service was horrible: Every 20min an attendant yanked out the grill-plates ( I know, they DO need periodic change-out) regardless if anything was grilling on it or not. If meat was on it, the person just shoved it onto the new grate. They are very hurried - One of them knocked over a full beer bottle in the process, spilling beer on me and another guest - no sorry, no excuse, just moved on and we had to wipe up the mess. No server came to help.Lastly: one lady (blue Polo shiret, covid face mask) that was exceptionally unfriendly came over and complained that we were not grilling the last 6 strips of Galbi. While I mentioned that we were trying to take a "break" and pause for a few she just grabbed the tongues and threw some Galbi strips on the bbq. When I asked her to "Stop!" she shrugged her shoulders , rolled her eyes and just walked away. Awful.3) Many -modern- Korean BBQ restaurants (in Seoul and now also in the US) have this over-the-grill-exhaust system (flexible vents that can be lowered or raised) to keep smoke at a minimum. Not Omi.The whole room was so filled with fumes, everyone has to go home, shower (wash hairs) and change clothes.Look at the pictures, you can see the smoke in the air.I am sorry, Omi, it's been a nice run (almost 8 years!) or patronage but sadly we decided to move on and find another place. Service has deteriorated to an super-unfriendly level and the ambience is intolerable smoky.Good luck.

The wings here were really good baked. However, they are on the sweeter side. Yet, I really enjoyed the wings & fries here.

Attentive service with an amazing clean beef taste. With a party of 11 everything went by smooth and tasty. 2 under 6, and 9 guest 11 and over a private room was set to accommodate the walk in within minutes of arriving.
