Not recommended for vegetarians, might be good for non-veg people considering that this is Bengali restaurant. The potato sabzi had no salt and potatoes were uncooked. Cutlet was full of beet, it's overpowering. Jhalmuri is just a mixture of some Indian snacks. Paneer kathi roll was good and Misti dahi is really good. Cost wise its very reasonable.

I ordered rasagulla , mitichor laddu and kathi rolls.I regret my order. The sweets were old and cold . The tinned sweets from halidrams are far better than rasagulla sold here.Kathi roll had average taste, nothing special .Had upset stomach next day .Will not go back to this restaurant. Highly disappointed. Other reviews were good and i tried this place. Now i feel those reviews are either paid or biased .Not worth your money .

We drive 5 hours each way just for the food. That probably says everything. This time I ate so much I was almost going to pass out, lol. Excellent Bengali cooking, a true gem.

Awesome Bengali sweets! Rasagolas were fresh and the sweetness was just perfect. Chomchom were very delicious. The best sweet for me was the gurer sondesh. The flavor of cooked milk in it was just mesmerising!! Also had Mishti Doi that was awesome, just like the ones back in Kolkata. I wish I could have the gurer rosogola or gurer chomchom. They were sold out.Never had any other place serve such sweets at any place in Texas. All other places, the sweets will either be too sweet or under prepared. All the sweets at this place were just perfect!!Will come back for other dishes soon.

Their kosha mangsho is the single best thing on this planet. Honestly worth a michelin star.

I will strongly recommend this place to everyone. This place is a hidden gem for indian/bengali food. Their mishti dahi and vegetable chop is the best I have ever had. They take time to prepare the food (20 to 30 minutes), but the wait time reflects on their quality. Their place is on my way back from work and will always find an excuse to get food from them. It is well worth the travel for anyone who wants to try their food.

Ordered food from Rakhi as I had surgery. Wanted to eat simple Bengali food like kichudi, labra, pholgobi sabzi, chutney, sandesh. She took my order on Monday even though they are closed and delivered it next day Tuesday. She went out of her way to make sure I got everything that We wanted. Food was so delicious and everything was cooked to perfection. Thank you so much Rakhi for everything ! You truly made my DAY ❤️

Did take out from here. Really lived their rassgulla here, very fresh and not that sweet. Went back the next day to pick up more rassgullas!! Their kausha mangsho was actually just goat curry but it was very delicious and neat was tender. Didn't enjoy their special chicken dish. Chicken biryani was decent.

Very friendly people at front desk. They really take care of your orders and make you feel welcomed. I went there to pick food and this girl, Sana was really nice & helped me with my order. Great food, loved it!!

We ordered food my daughter's birthday and Manchurian was not cooked. We could see the white power (guessing corn flour) while taking bites.Good food is the soul of any event and we were really embarrassed with the food quality. Good part is that we ordered pizza for kids so they could eat nicely.Hakka noodles were strictly okay.I wont order the food ever from Rakhis Kitchen.

The food was heavenly! Absolutely loved the flavors. Bishon Bhalo, as my wife described it to be.

Very good food! Got 2 executive thalis with mutton and shrimp. The food quantity and quality was awesome. The only negative was that the shrimp curry was ok.Will definitely come back to try other items and their Bengali sweets (which I know is made in house, cause there was a pleasant smell of saffron throughout the restaurant).

I live in the Dallas area for almost 9 years now and having grown up in kolkata, I always seek the kolkata sweets and especially misti doi. I recently tried Rakhis kitchen for gurer Sandesh and misti doi and they were just out of the world....now its unfair to compare these with authentic ones that you would get in kolkata, but I can safely say that the quality and taste of Sandesh and doi are comparable or somewhat better than some places that I have had in kokata. Kudos to the owners of Rakhis kitchen.
