One of the best food experiences I've had, service was also excellent.
The bath is good! There are certain rules about certain boys and girls being together, but it’s fun! Good steamer, Timur! Very tasty food, at least the soup is top notch and the samsa is delicious!

If you’ve never been to a proper banya- this is a great place to start! Open, friendly and so clean!! The owner was very friendly and checked on everyone. Start off with the Finnish sauna if you’ve never been in a Russian banya, it will prepare you for the heat. The ice bath at the end is glorious and will close up your pores. If you have dinner, the Galubtsi is *impeccable*. If you’ve ever had traditional Russian food, the recipe will literally make your taste buds weep. This is perfect for fall and winter. Bring a friend and share the smiles! You won’t regret it!

Do check out scrub in Hammam, Russian Venik, Cold barrel and the best food! Relaxing , Super friendly and very welcoming atmosphere! I wish they had one in Austin but drive is not that long and definitely going back as soon as possible! Staff is super attentive to your needs , place is very clean. Went here for date night with my husband. Wow, to say we were overwhelmed with hospitality is an understatement. We were greeted by one of the patrons with a hug and words of welcome, the owner waited for us to change so we could experience the aroma therapy sauna with the regulars. They introduced us to everyone there. It was an instant connection and it took all of 30 seconds for strangers to become new friends that felt like we’ve known forever. Here is the point of this review…just go. Support a small business, get the banya experience, and let go of inhibitions. This is a judgement free zone where you can enjoy some heat, cold plunge, make new friends, eat delicious food. Just go! Tell your friends, and have fun!

This place may need a little explaining, so I'll do my best to give an American perspective of the banya. The Russian Banya is a combination of restaurant and traditional Russian Banya.
The banya consists of a family-style environment that has all the food from the restaurant side, traditional Russian/Eastern European drinks, and centralizes around a wood burning wet sauna. For convenience I'll say "Russian," but all Eastern European countries have some form of this practice and the wonderful people that work here are from all over Eastern and Central Europe. It is typical for Russians to have a banya near a lake, and to jump into the lake after spending time in the sauna. The Russian Banya is the closest approximation to this in Texas. The banya is revered in Eastern Europe for it's ability to help recover from aches and pains, and to relax and recharge.
This Russian Banya is truly a unique place, and it all starts with the owner Misha. He ensures you are well taken care of your entire stay. The food is great and comes from Russia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. I began coming here due to the 45 degree cold plunge, and the wet sauna that is always over 180 degrees. The cold plunge is colder and the sauna is hotter than any wellness center I know of in DFW. I have tried cryotherapy, and I found the cold plunge to be way more effective. The available research out there seems to back this up as well. They have additional services including therapeutic massage, platza, and body scrubs. The steam room is excellent for improving you lung and skin health.

Cozy, I would even say homely atmosphere. The staff are professionals in their field. Kitchen for 5+. I advise everyone to visit this establishment.

I’ve been going to the Russian Banya for over 10 years through several different management changes and it is still my favorite place in the metroplex! The food and service is to die for. The aroma therapy sessions they perform several times a day are such an amazing experience. Guaranteed you’ll leave refreshed and excited for your next trip there. We recently held a bachelorette party there for my mom and it was the best decision we could have made. A fun crowd and relaxing spa experience before the big day. Thank you to Misha for making it an incredible experience! We’ll definitely be back soon!
