Food was good. Meat quality is better than any other korean bbq place I've been to in DFW. Side dishes were slow to be refilled but overall everything was great. It also didn't hurt that our server was tall and handsome!

I recently returned to Texas from an overseas trip and used that as an excuse to celebrate with my friends over KBBQ! I've wanted to try Saemaeul since they first opened, and I'm so glad I finally stopped by. We came here on a busy Saturday evening when every table was filled and there was a party of 12 ahead of us on the list. Depsite this, we were seated after only ~10 minutes of waiting! We ordered the beef special combo plus an order of samgyeopsal, and boy was it a lot of food. I was really worried we would end up leaving unsatisfied because I'm used to AYCE bbq spots, but I was super wrong. The meat here was so delicious, I much prefer high quality plain meat to dip in sauce or salt myself versus sugary marinated meat, so I was super happy with how fresh everything tasted. The special comes with your choice of soup, we got the kimchi jjigae and it was gone within minutes. They are very generous with the side dishes, and not to worry, they will refill them free of charge despite not being AYCE. We had maybe five plates of lettuce because samgyeopsal and kimchi wrapped in lettuce is just the best thing ever. I enjoyed every single cut of meat we ate despite my typical basic order of bulgogi not being present. The combos are a great way to expand your palette a tiny bit if you're like me and tend to order the same things every time. They had multiple types of soju you can order, which was also appreciated. I got something new (Saero) and ended up really liking it! The servers here grill your meat for you, which was a bit of an adjustment because I'm used to doing it myself, but I ended up really enjoying leaving it up to the server. I felt like I actually got to fully engage in conversation at the table (designated meat grillers of their friend groups get what i mean hehe). I had a really really good time here, and while Samaeul isn't within my regular budget, this is a great place for birthdays and celebrations, though I don't know if I would bring a huge group here since the tables are all for 3-4 people max. This is my new favorite Korean BBQ spot and I will definitely come back!

Visited Saemaeul on a Saturday night to celebrate my friend's birthday. We were seated promptly and ordered the special mix combo. The meat was cooked by various staff members, who were all friendly and ensured we had a great meal. Our table also tried their viral lunch box, but when they shook it, the yolk went flying out of the box. Personally, I would return because I really enjoyed the experience and environment, but I would not order the lunch box again.

Today I decided to try out this new restaurant. The ambience is nice looking extremely professional. The first thing I noticed was the multiple side dishes that were excellent. The kimchi has a excellent flavor. I ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap which is served in a hot zone pot. The server told me this is a chain restaurant in Korea and is one of only two in the United States. The dish is rice covered by vegetables and pork. It is topped by a fried egg. It has fantastic flavor and I will order it again. All of this was just $14.99. Inexpensive for all the food.You need to try this place.

I went Tuesday night with my husband. It wasn't too busy, so we took ourtime. We ordered Beef combo with many side dishes. The meat was great andtender, the side dishes were also good. The service was very good and we'llgo back soon. We enjoyed it a lot! I recommend it highly.
My wife and I went on Tuesday evening. The staff is very nice and service was good, especially Hana who explained the various dishes to us. We tried different meats on a combination platter and also had the cheese steam egg, all of which was very good. My wife enjoyed the cold noodles, a very Korean side-dish. The staff and service was very good, we'll go back again.

We had the beef special combo, rice balls, cheese steamed egg custard, tteokbokki, and beef soup. I especially liked the beef soup because it had a lot of light beef. We were served high quality meats and amazing side dishes and the servers (especially Jenny) were very friendly, professional and did a great job. Thank you to the staff for giving us an amazing and delicious food experience and making it so comfortable to eat!! Wanted to Visit this Restaurant for while,went last weekend, and This Restaurant became my favorite!! Ambiance was nice and well lighted and waitstaff was courteous and well trained on the how to cook our order of pork belly and beef special combo.it was very well cooked and enjoyed our food! I loved the total dining experience,we'll have to come back and try other items on the menu.
