Shipley Do-Nuts Carrollton

I know that Shipley's has really good donuts and since I have to drive an hour to my job site I really wanted a quality donut. My job starts at 6:00 so I needed a donut shop that was open early. Since Google Maps said that this Shipley's location opened at 4:30 I added this to my route, only to find out, and be extremely disappointed that this location does not open until 5:00. Just wanted to let everyone know that the information on Google Maps doesn't always reflect accurately the information on any particular location.

Donuts are good. I tried the boudin kolaches and it was doughy and not cooked thoroughly. It was like they rushed it and clearly wasn't done baking. It was expensive to throw it out.

Staff is always so friendly and donuts delish.! Revised since original post 5 years ago. The owners seemed to have changed and so did all the staff since then. When I tried these since then I have received at least 1 donut that didnt taste fresh. It was somewhat hard and not as good as the others. I don't go to any Shipleys Do-nuts anymore since I count of freshness.

We frequent this location every weekend. Sadly, we get old donuts more often than not. When they’re fresh, they’re good. But it’s not cheap to get a box of clearly old donuts. Very disappointing. Please stop giving out old donuts. These went straight in the trash and a disappointed little girl.

Very disappointing from the hype. The waitress didn't confirm the order before charging so instead of egg and cheese croissant we got a kolache. Whatevr that is...

Update. Donut holes were okish.. the kolache was good. The javachip coffee was horrible

The donuts here are quite good, with a nice variety to choose from. Unfortunately, the chocolate icing from one donut got smeared all over the others, which affected the presentation and made them a bit messy to eat. Despite this issue, the quality of the donuts still shines through.

The drive thru lady had some type of attitude, very unpleasant. I asked for cream for my coffee but when I received it, no cream was in the bag. So I asked for cream which she begrudgingly gave me. Then I had to ask for a stirrer. Another unpleasant look. Also had to ask for napkins which she gave me one (1). Also later discovered she overcharged me for a glaze donut ($2.75). First and last time going to this location.
