I ordered a regular kolache at the drive-thru, and the drive thru attendant Daymara charged me for a bottle of water when I did not order one.UPDATE: I am changing my review because today I received a letter from the CMO expressing concern that i had an unpleasant experience and they went out of their way to make it right. I stand corrected. THIS is customer service. Well done and thank you!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICEStopped by yesterday to get a couple of donuts before heading home, after walking in one of the workers an older Hispanic (Mx) female (the other girl was young) comes to the front with like an attitude like of I had interrupted her chatting or movie, anyway I told her which type of donuts I wanted and she walks over to the trays and right before she had a chance to put them into the box I told her excuse me I said the other type.Well, she got mad because she threw three ones she picked up on the tray and then picked the ones that I wanted which for some reason they only always have like 2 in stock every time I go anyway picks them up and throws them into the box, at that point I walked over to her and looked at the box and ask her to be more careful and to make sure that their placed next to each other and not on top just thrown, she gave me a look like F.U. picked one of them up and threw it right back into the box right next to the other but this time knocking most of the toppings off and putting a dent on the other.I that point I just told her, you know what never mind and walked out.This place from the moment you walk in you can feel a tension in the air and especially if one of the younger Hispanic girls comes to help because now you have the guys in the back just staring at you and her like if they're keeping an eye on their girlfriend(s) so that they or you don't flirt, and they've got a look on their face like being scared, don't know what's going on there but keep it at home.Also they could have a much better selection, we just moved here and in San Antonio they've got a much better selection on everything.

Chocolate "Glazed" were outstanding, and a little bit darker dough ? than most other Shipley's I have gone too in the DFW area since moving here fr Houston in 1977. All the rest are too light (dough). They are maple in color...☹️?

Never liked leaving a bad reviews, I barely write one, unless it’s absolutely great service.Anyways, I’ve been here several times and the employee lady was very rude every time I’ve visited. I’m not taking it personally, but it’s really not welcoming that I don’t go there as much anymore.This review is to truly help the owner understand, what’s happening when they’re not there.I’m sure they’re aware, that the great business is all about customer service.If it was something minor, I wouldn’t even bother writing this, as I’m very compassionate and patient person.But it’s concerning for this business, as this has been consistent treatment from the lady that works there. So you can’t even say she’s had a “bad day”.There’s plenty of Donut Shops near by, so I won’t be surprised if they’re loosing business due to this situation.

This happens today at 7:56am. When I asked her about the Owner / Manager she told me that he was not there, I asked her for her name and she told me that she did not have to give it to me. I spent $400 in a single order to buy KOLACHES for my employees and this is the service they provide me. From now on I will do business with Castle Donuts (Old Denton Road).

We have always loved this neighborhood Shipleys but they also did a FABULOUS job on a large order for my workplace. The donuts were super fresh, delicious, and ready to go promptly when I arrived. The team is friendly and the donuts and kolaches are simply better than all the others !

I walked into your W Hebron Store. I waited for my turn to order. I was the only customer left in the store. The lady behind the counter completely ignored me. Two different customers walked in behind me and she waited on them immediately. I asked her if I had done or said something to make her angry and she just gave me scornful look. I normally don’t give reviews, but I can’t remember the last time I was treated so poorly in a place of business. Just FYI, you are not the only doughnut shop in Carrollton, TX.
